We stopped into this location on accident, we had set-up an appointment at the location in Bayshore mall. When we came we were early for the appointment so I asked if it was okay that we came in before the appointment. The sales guy acted like he knew exactly what I was talking about and said that was no problem. After basically giving us the most expensive tux in the store as our only option, the sales guy took down all of our information. The store was getting renovated and there were people walking all over in construction clothing and the lights kept going in and out. Okay really, do yourself a favor and shut down for a day if you can't do that after hours. So after all of our info is taken down, we're told we need to pay $40. We were very confused since we didn't commit to anything. We told the sales guy we weren't ready to make the final decision on this yet and he just stared at us, did not say a SINGLE word. So we got up and walked out, it was the most awkward thing I have ever experienced. I worked in retail for 5 years, I was astonished that this guy is somehow still employed with that type of behavior - YIKES!
So I got a call a few days later from the location where our appointment actually WAS supposed to be asking if we'd like to reschedule. I explained what had happened and they were appalled. I was told there are many tux options at different price points, and after some convincing, I came to the store to check out what they had. They were really nice and took care of us. Because they were so close to our house, we decided to book with them. Everything was set-up fine, but when the guys received their tuxes... yuck. One of the tuxes stunk SO bad, it was disgusting. After an hour wearing the tux, my husband's belt broke, a groomsmen's shoe lace broke, and I think something else happened. Thank goodness the store was within a few blocks of our church, because the guys had to show up there to get replacements of all the broken stuff before the ceremony. It was quite disappointing for how hopeful we were when this store "saved the day" from our...
Read moreI came here to pick up a rental. I had to come a total of 3 additional times due to their tailoring/measurement errors. A worker tells me on the last fitting that I am subject to a discount. when asking about it during pick up, the manager tells me this is not something they do and did not apologize for the workers mistakes, rather blamed it on them being in training. no accountability whatsoever which is fine. the manager appeared just rude simply because I was younger. When I went to pick up, while looking down the whole time, “can I help you” and while saying i’m there for pick up, she tells me “rental pick ups there” as she points to opposite side of store.
although I had this experience, I decided to brush it off and come back. granted I have ordered rentals here many times even within a weeks time of date needed, i’d never get charged a late fee. So when I go in to get a rental done, the manager again, very cold, tells me “automatically there is a $35 charge for rush fee.” I ask how since my poor experience from last time if it’s possible to waive. Her emotionless expression looks at me and just shakes her head no, so I leave. tell me why i go to another men’s and without hesitation, they waive the supposed “automatically applied and can’t remove” rush fee??
anyway, poor customer service all around with their sales workers, managers,...
Read moreA tux place only needs to do a couple things to make it a successful transaction. This includes putting all the items in the bag.
I tried on my tux Wednesday and the pants were too short. No problem, I left them to be lengthened and to be picked up Friday morning on my way to my wedding rehearsal up north.
I wasn’t given an opportunity to retry them on, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, since there was no more time for them to fixed.
I open my tux bag Saturday morning a couple hours before having to get ready for my wedding and there were NO PANTS in the bag. I should have treated them like a fast food place and made sure they managed to give me all the items of my order, but I didn’t think I had to stoop to that level.
Thank god for the Grand Chute, WI location quickly tailoring and delivering a pair of pants to save the day.
Upon returning the rental, the long haired unprofessional looking dweeb that took my tux back didn’t ask how it went. So I informed him there was a pair of pants from another store in there since they didn’t give me my order correctly. I got a “that’s ok”....
