Drive thru is supposed to be quick and convenient anywhere you go. I am not sure why I torture myself and keep giving this location more chances than it deserves. If I come after work between 6pm-7pm, the last few months I always seem to be the unlucky customer who gets them in "the middle of a shift change," and am asked to park and come inside to order. I worked a long shift on my feet, and get food that is then inconvenient. Its even more frustrating when multiple staff members are at tables on their phones during these staff changes every time. This has happened several times the past 6 months and I don't understand how in 20+ years of when I splurge for fast food, this was never an issue. If i pulled a stunt like this at my jobs, I would have been written up or fired.
Then tonight I gave more order 3 times to one young gal who said she couldn't hear me, and when I asked if she could hear me now she said she was talking to someone else and to restart my order. Then I pulled up and had to pull forward because they needed to give the car behind me an order and then had to pull back all in a 2 minute period.
There is a reason why Yum Brands is switching over to AI, this location is a prime example why they need to phase out in person cashiers for orders. I probably will give them another chance once the AI drive thru gets implemented.
This is why entitled, unmotivated workers in the work force, who do not apply themselves, do not deserve $15-20 an hour. These jobs are for young workers to learn basic skills such as communication , customer service, following directions, math, etc. If they want those wages go to tech school or the trades. There is no way these people should make more than let say EMTs make who are trained to save lives.

Read moreHardest place to enter - have to drive south past two no U-turns, turn left, slowly thread your way through Walgreen's parking lot, go back two blocks, and finally there. Even harder to exit, if you want to go WEST on Silver Spring Dr. Almost impossible to get into the left turn lanes from Port Wash. Road onto Silver Spring Drive. Or you could turn right off Port Road onto Silver Spring EAST, go two blocks, turn right, use first alley left, left again to Silver Spring, turn left at stop lights, back two more blocks to SS & Port - finally on your way home. A lot of time and effort just for Taco Bell, just to wonder about the grade of beef used and - most of the time - be browbeaten by surly employees. Today was a new low, even for Taco Bell. I like their Nacho Beef Chalupas, which used to be a standard menu item, but not anymore. Last time there, I got Supreme Beef Chalupas, with Nacho Cheese added at no extra charge (including sour cream). Today I figured I'd call first and was told that, of course, they still have Nacho Beef Chalupas. BUT, I was charged 50 cents each extra for the Nacho Cheese - not what the fella told me. She's already nasty at this point. Was told I could sub Nacho Cheese for the sour cream - OK, but screen shows 50 cents extra for sour cream. Told her leave off the sour cream and she got even more ill-tempered! Finally the screen shows the correct order, at $16.21 (ordered extra items too), but total comes out at $18.82! Didn't want to get dagger eyes or into an argument, so just drove off.
In no uncertain terms, I WILL be notifying Taco Bell about this! I'll do it by email, rather than phone, as I don't wish to be abused...

I had this delivered. The order was so spectacularly wrong that as I checked it against my receipt, I kept finding new things that were just completely wrong. I was given an order that was packaged like what I ordered, but for most of the items, every single thing was wrong.
I called the Taco Bell. Immediately, they hung up on me. What I was actually given was also much cheaper than what I paid for. This Taco Bell took my money, gave me way cheaper items than I ordered, and told me to get lost.
I noticed that the food was also not good quality compared to other times I've gotten food from Taco Bell. Every taco was falling apart and many had things falling out as if the taco was not even made properly at all.
In total, this was the worst experience I can remember having with fast food. The only positive was that the food did not look or smell like it was going to kill me. I did eat it though, and I am hoping I was right about it being safe to eat. Given how awful everything else about this was, I would be surprised if they had good food safety here.
The wonderful delivery service was shocked as well, and gave me a full refund. I have never had that happen in my life! The business which worked with Taco Bell to deliver its awful mistakes was so ashamed of what this location did that they decided to pay for the entire thing. It was that bad.
