I've been a customer here for YEARS! I furnished my entire house thru Aaron's at this location when we bought our home. I've come back to them 3 times. Recently, I had 4 active accounts opened and I wanted to pay 2 of them off, to which I did and make a payment on my other accounts. To which I did. The manager tried to run it all at once and kept telling me her system glitches. She read me the numbers that she was going to run my card for and when I checked my bank it was $100 more than what she told me. Then she told me her system glitches again and that the 2 payments didn't go thru. I checked my email and I had a reciept of it showing the 2 accounts paid off and the 2 payments going thru. So she proceeds to argue with me for 20 monutes saying "you can come in and look at the receipt with me" I told her 3 times I was out of town for 1 and for 2 I had the email showing the reciept of all payments made and the bank showing she pulled said amount (which wasn't even the amount she originally told me it was more!) And this woman had the audacity to ask me if I needed a calculator even tho she had 20 different amounts she was telling me smh. So at this point I was super irritated and told her I feel like she's trying to steal money from me so I requested a different manager. She got extremely rude and upset, She told me the gm would contact me back and made sure to tell me that the gm was going to be busy for another 30 minutes which would have put it at the store closing time. 3 weeks later I haven't heard a word from them therefore showing she was completely wrong. Never had a problem with this store before this woman took over.
In regards to owners response,
I have sent an email, as well as called the number provided. The account is under my husband's name, but it was myself that had to deal with the unprofessionalism. And as I stated above, the gm was suppose to call me and I never heard a word so I'm not surprised she "has no recollection" of...

We have been an Aarons loyal customer since 2015 and never had an issue. Have owned lots of things through them. Everything's been done online with no problem in the past. Used them in WA State and Texas. Moved to NC and used them in Dunn.
Just purchased home near Goldsboro and using the Goldsboro Aaron's location. Have had issues since the start of application. Applied for a fridge online where it says $25 due today. After filling the info out it says we needed to call the store before finalizing. After calling they said we needed to come in and that they had no record of our past history or account (since 2015!!). Went in and had to fill out paperwork where we had to provide our socials, references and so much more...though they don't check credit which I found odd. Never had to do that in the past. Was told they are different from the others. Anyway, after all that they collected a full 1st month which was over $100. Big difference from the $25 it says we would pay online. But paid it anyway and scheduled delivery. They had to reschedule delivery due to our recent snow but instead of scheduling out a day or 2 they scheduled us out just about another week. So, paid for first month which is almost up and ordered quite some time ago and haven't been able to use it yet.
Think next time we use Aaron's we will use a different location where things aren't made to be...
Read moreWorst Aaron's I've ever been to. Associate was not attentive. Failed to let us know that the sectional in the store was already sold. We asked if it could be ordered. No. Ok I understand. Next I asked if he could possibly check to see if any surrounding stores had it in stock.... He says no he can't because they aren't affiliated with any other stores (I thought it was Aaron's, not a personal rent to own furniture store with an Aaron's sticker on the door). Then the lady in the store finally said she "could" call the kinston store to see if they had it but even if they did that the employees at the kinston store would just send us back to her anyway. Are you kidding me? These locally owned furniture and cell phone "authorized dealers" around here really think they don't have to honor the policies of the companies...
