Fitting Rooms! On a weekday, around 3:00-4:00 pm. My daughter & I were in need of a lot of new clothes, for a 5 day trip to D.C. We were SHOPPIN. We found many options, guesstimate 25 hangers each, our basket was FULL. When we got to the fitting rooms, a sign was posted stating- “Fitting Rooms are Closed”. I stood there, beyond frustrated, all that time spent picking out clothes (almost 2hrs), in expectation of trying on the clothing.
Before pandemic, majority of my families clothes were purchased at Goodwill, because you get more for the money. Unfortunately, now, that’s not the case. Goodwill doesn’t have fitting rooms, so that’s why we shop at Burlington or Ross, etc. for clothing. This isn’t the first time this has happened at Burlington. One time there was no sign, instead, an employee made me aware. We left the basket right there and we walked out of the store. It’s really frustrating, all that time picking out clothes, wasted. Read moreIf you're not aware BE AWARE clothing with in these stores are Factory Rejects. You should try them on before you leave the store to ensure there are no flaws. Should you try to return something that has ripped, torn or has a snag in it you will have a 50-50 chance of getting your money back. My recent experience was with a dress I had purchased. I didn't try it on while at the store along with a few other dresses I purchased. When I got home I tried on the dress only to have it rip across the lower back. I took the dress that tag and the original receipt today to the cashier. I was spoken to as if I was trying to rip the store off by returning a $7.99 dress with a defect. She had to call her store manager to confirm that they could take back the dress. Though on the very back of their receipt it states... Return policy, simple! If you are unhappy for any reason bring it back with your receipt within 30 days and get your purchase price...

The reason being is that they're all simply one-liners for the most part out of One reviewer. As someone who provides detailed reviews this is a red flag for me. Looking at older reviews from years past location of Burlington Coat Factory past history and reviews doesn't look too promising. I would hope the next individual who happens to post a review their experiences when shopping at this Burlington Coat Factory location goes a little bit more in-depth than typing up a one liner review. It would be nice and beneficial for future customers. Later in time I hope to have an excellent experience when I shop at this location and I'll be sure to...
