Golden Empire Market — Local services in Grass Valley

I was visiting my grandma I haven’t seen in awhile and figured I’d stop by this store to get a few drinks. Within 30 seconds of me browsing the drinks to decide what I wanted, a tall, white curly haired, mid 20 looking guy who was working the register yelled at me saying “come here now!” He then said he was watching the cameras and seen me steal with his own eyes and told me to empty my pockets in front of everyone in the store. I explained that I had plenty of money and am not a thief and he just smirked like he didn’t believe me. I (of course) had nothing but my phone in any of my pockets and nothing was stolen from the store. Maybe it was cuz I have tattoos but I felt very disrespected and harassed for zero reason within the first minute of entering the store. This employee should be fired. I will NOT be returning ever again and hope nobody will buy from this store. (especially if you have tattoos or...

The new walk in beer cooler actually works. Yay to cold beer from this market, long time coming! Signs ordering me to close the door behind me was insulting. The staff clearly doesn't want to be there, not welcoming or hospitable whatsoever. What happened to thank you? Cell phones did. The service is excellent ! I do enjoy the New setup ,plus great hot Foods! The drive up ,in&out short-term parking is Always Great. Remember Drivers politeness of this awesome drive-up-out. Lets all show patience .the only recommended thing is distinctive white stripes in the parking lot ! And a simple plaque of the brief of history of the "Empire Market" ! Overall I'm so truly grateful and Happy to see the Owner has a positive views of the future . Great job...
