Awful experience!!! I WOULD NOT recommend it for anyone. It is not worth the money!! We booked the experience for 15 people, as a fun evening and to “get to know you” for myself and my new fiancé‘s families to meet and intermingle… we were assured we would be seated together. A couple days before the show I contacted management and was told we would be seated in a group of seven and eight at two tables next to each other. When we arrive the host told us we would be seated at tables next to each other in a group of 10 and five. When we got in the room our tables were not sitting next to each other at all. So our event to mesh our families together ended up keeping them separate. My fiancé and I weren't even able to sit at the table together!!

The meal: The salad dressing was great, the chicken was dry, the cheesecake was phenomenal.

The staff: The room was changed last minute . Neither the host or the waitstaff could provide any assistance. We were told repeatedly that it was the first night at their new location so they were unable to provide any answers. No one seem to know what they were doing .

The “show”: Most of the “acting” was subpar & extremely campy at best. A couple actors did a nice job and were funny.

Additionally, we bought the suspect package (which is optional for everyone to buy), and I called and spoke to someone who confirmed that I could put the pictures of our 2 suspects in an envelope with their name on it. I was told to put them in envelopes separately and slip them to the host. I did this, however both of our suspects were not used. Only one was! When I asked after the show, the host was confused and not sure. Later they came and said that we could only use one suspect! I explained that I spoke to someone, and that was never told to me and they knew I had two suspects. The Mystery: The plot was very basic and honestly easily solved with the first piece of “evidence” shared and phone call.

The drinks: Were good but were very expensive. Think 2.5 to 3 times regular cost.

The response: I wrote to the management and let them know of my disappointment for ruining our engagement event and the confusion with the seating, the show, the actors, the staff, the sub par meal, not using our 2 suspects etc. I received an email response (not even a call) that basically said they were not at fault other than the seating arrangement and would not try to sincerely apologize to us nor offer any type of small refund (of our almost $1000 investment- not including drinks!!).

Needless to say, unfortunately, my whole group was dissatisfied with the show, meal, seating etc and I do not...

The signage was clearly marked at easy to follow. Checking in was fairly easy and the staff greeted us with an appetizer at the door .Our table was back in a corner and the view of the action was VERY limited from our vantage point. The acoustics could have been better. Sometimes we were all asking, at our table, what was said. The acting was good and the audience was involved. Now to the food. The spinach salad was very good but the chicken option was horrible! So dry and tough! The people at our table, including us, put the honey mustard dressing, left on the table from the salad, on our chicken to make it edible! The green beans were tasteless and the saving grace were the fingerling potatoes. The cheesecake for dessert was very good and the slice was very generous! The room itself was bare and cold. Not the best atmosphere for putting on a play. Would I go again? Maybe at a...

We had high hopes for this show. It sounded like a great time but we weren't expecting audience participation. It started with finding a stranger and asking questions, with the idea that you could figure out if they were the killer (hard to do when we didn't have any details about who the victim was or what happened). Between each course of the meal, a part of the story was played out. The detectives would randomly call out people to act out parts of the story. As an introvert, I kept hoping they wouldn't call me out. I wanted to view the story and try to figure out the crime. I did not want to participate. The acting (from the detectives) was not great. They did have some funny lines that made everyone chuckle. The food was fine, however the vegetarian option was very light on portion compared to the other options.
