I ate here with my wife for a date night. I can't say I would recommend. Atmosphere was nice, waitress was great, but the manager was pretty unbelievably bad. The food wasn't bad until I noticed green and black colored fuzzy mold on my BLT sandwich. Instantly I felt sick knowing I had already ate part of the sandwich. My wife also lost her appetite so we opted to leave. I showed our waitress and she completely understood and took the food away. The manager also came out and gave a half baked apology. He said along the lines of "sorry but you know these things just happen sometimes and I can't really say much beyond that". As we went up to pay, I was ready to pay for our drinks and go as I didn't think we should have to pay for the food we didn't eat (wife had about 1 bite of her pasta). The waitress asked the manager to approve but instead he was very defensible and refused because "just because you didn't like the sandwich, you don't want to pay for the other food??" I was pretty confused and suprised of the reaction since I thought it was a pretty straightforward request and I still was trying to pay for our drinks. However he kept arguing and talking down to me. I felt completely disrespected. However I still tried to explain the whole experience and that it wasn't that I didn't like the food - I literally had fuzzy mold growing on my sandwich and now we're worried how the rest of the food is prepared. After a few rounds of heated debate and other customers watching, the manager (likely realizing the publicity of other customers listening in) finally agreed and told us "just leave, we'll void the entire meal, just leave". The whole experience was a nightmare.

My bride and I visited Hagemeister Park about 4 weeks ago so my review is a little foggy on the details but it does not diminish from my favorable experience as I recall it. It was a snowy day when we visited and parked across the street using metered parking, which was easy using the parking app. From the front, Hagemeister appears to be a small storefront sized restaurant. It is anything but! It is rather expansive inside. Huge actually. I loved the rustic, relaxed decor and the large booth where we were seated. Televisions were mounted throughout so if you are hoping to watch The Game, you can do it here. I was in the mood for a beer and I appreciated the variety of craft beers available. Not too large where the decision is difficult but just enough to cover most of the types one would want. I prefer a Scotch ale so I tried the Christmas Ale. Maybe twice. For my meal, I ordered french onion soup and the Ultimate club sandwich. While the french onion soup was good, I would not declare it to be world famous level of good. I still prefer my own home cooked recipe. The Ultimate club was very good though. My bride ordered the Elk burger which she found delicious as well. Having filled our bellies, we left satisfied and will make this a stop the next time we are in the area. Our server was attentive and friendly and the prices were fair.

We recently visited Hagemeister Park, and the setting could not have been more beautiful. Located along the Fox River in historic downtown, the restaurant sits perfectly between two drawbridges, offering stunning views. The outdoor patio is a highlight, with cozy firepits and heaters that make it enjoyable even on cooler nights. The food was attractively plated, and the steak easily stole the show. Perfectly tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right—it was one of those meals you remember. The Brussels sprouts were another win, cooked just right (though a little more glaze would have made them even better). On the flip side, the broccoli lacked any real flavor, and the garlic asparagus didn’t leave much of an impression. Where the experience fell short was the service. While polite, it felt average at best. The staff didn’t seem very familiar with the menu, and when asked about dishes, the answers weren’t very helpful. It didn’t ruin the evening, but it definitely stood out compared to the otherwise great atmosphere. All in all, Hagemeister Park is worth visiting for the views, the vibe, and especially that unforgettable steak. With some improvements in service and consistency on the sides, it could be a truly outstanding dining experience.

I have been to this location in the past for celebrations. They have great party rooms for large groups and it is right downtown. In the past we have been placed in party rooms for events and were able to order off of the menu and seperate checks for guests who wished to do so. Having been a server in the past, I know seperating checks can be frustrating and time consuming so I always appreciated the fact that they were willing to do this. When I wanted to book my own event, I chose this location because of my prior experience. When I spoke with management, I was told because it was a Packer home game weekend, I would be required to meet a minimum dollar amount, pre-order from a menu or have a buffet and that my guests would not have the option to seperate checks because it would be a hinderance to their servers/staff. The woman was actually speaking over me to tell me it would be a hinderance to her servers if we seperated checks, as I was trying to explain that I have been a server too and understand that. However, it's not that much of a hinderance if they are staffed properly, and we would only be there 2 hours with food and soda so checks could be printed and dropped off at tables immediately if needed. I was also told we could sit at tables and order off the menus, but orders would have to be placed 3 days in advance. I am not going to make my guests pre-order their dinners, not to mention collecting 40 orders would be a HINDERANCE to me and my guests experience. Having worked in the service industry for years in Milwaukee, I have never known a manager at any restaurant I worked in who would willingly turn away 40 guests, who planned to spend 2 hours max in the restaurant, due to pre-order/seperated checks. They would have staffed accordingingly to meet the groups needs. It is a service industry, and we always catered to the customer...seperate checks and all. I was shocked that they would turn away a party of 40 people, even on a Packer weekend when I am sure they will be busy with or without us. Guess they felt they didnt need our business. Needless to say, I was able to find another location to better fit my guests needs. I will not be contacting this restaurant for future reservations, professional events or celebrations. Very...

My family and I have dined at this establishment many times over the past couple years. We have gone as a family of 5, taken friends there, brought international guests there, had meet and greet get togethers there, but the experience we had on 12/21/14 was unbelievable. After a long day, we opted to order dinner. At 5:32 pm this day, I used the online ordering system available on their site. Since I did not get an email confirmation, I called the restaurant at 5:40pm to tell them I ordered online and didn't get the confirmation. They assured me it would be ready and delivered in 45 mins. At 6:30 pm, I called again and was told they had not started the food yet and just confirmed my order. I suggested that if the online system was not working, they should not make it available. I was told by the girl over the phone, "well, you could have just called". I was told it would be 20-30 mins. I should point out here, that my credit card was charged immediately at 5:32 pm. At 7:20 pm, I called again. Spoke to a manager who told me that he was sorry, but the for some reason our order had not been started yet. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told I just wanted my money back. The manager, Curt, told me they would like to "make it right" and offered to refund my money and provide a gift card. I told him we wanted to eat. It had been 2 hours since we ordered. So, Curt said our food would be right out to the house. It took another 30 minutes, which in the meantime, we ordered Chinese food, since my children were starving by this point. That arrived 5 minutes after food from Hagemeister. We did receive the gift card for $25, but my salad was the worst I have ever had from them and I have yet to get my money refunded. I have emailed Curt twice since then. He responded the first time asking for my address-which they would have since they delivered food to my house--but my most recent email has gone unanswered. As of today, it has been 24 days since our experience---plenty of time to refund my $48.

I have waited patiently for Hagemeister to "make it right". At this point, I would not go there again or recommend...

Visited for cocktails and snacks after a very warm summer afternoon of disc golf. Party of nine. We put our masks on and headed through the restaurant to the patio. Our party needed outdoor seating in the shade due to a medical condition. No one greeted us or came to us for at least five minutes. There was one patron at the bar. T o outdoor tables of two. We took it upon ourselves to try to put a table large enough together. And then completely got screamed at by a server. “Hey. You can’t pull tables together”. Not, “hello, welcome. How many in your party? How can we help you today?” She pointed to a table for 8 in the sun and said sit there. I reminded her we have 9. She said, I’ll get a manager. Two minutes later he comes out, pulls two tables together in the shade and brings us silverware. We think all is well, but no. It’s shift change. Now a server argument about who’s going to take our order. Let me tell you. We made it worth our waiter’s time to work for us for five minutes till the next server took the rest of our service over. (Two of us are restaurant managers and two of us are lifetime servers - all from Door County- we know how to treat people and give great service). Fast forward out app gets served - raw chicken bites. We show this and mention it to our server. No apology, no removal from the table, no manager, no comp, nothing. We had to ask our server to take our dirty glasses away as we received new ones, take the raw chicken away, etc. absolutely no prebusing was done during our experience. Again, by the time we left, still, NOT ONE “Thank you” from any of the staff. The only thing great about this place was the company I was with. I will not be back until this place improves their service and Quality control on the food they serve before it leaves...
