One of your employees, Mandy, treated us horribly when my friends and I were just simply walking around the store like normal people. When we first entered the store, she was very helpful and kind. My friend started trying on some rings but decided not to get any, so she put them back. Mandy started getting suspicious and asked my friend if she wanted to buy the rings, and when my friend said “no, we’re just looking,” Mandy gave us a weird look. Then, we went into the clearance room because we were starting to feel uncomfortable. Mandy followed us in there and said “you guys are acting a little jumpy” and then “prosecution is real”. We didn’t really know what to say, so we tried leaving the store but Mandy stopped us and threatened to call security on us. She said “I’ve worked here for four years, and I know behavior when I see it,” and “Do I need to call security? I don’t want anyone to have a bad night”. This was absolutely ridiculous to accuse a bunch of teenagers of shoplifting when we were literally doing nothing and trying on items like any normal person. My friends and I will not be stepping foot into Altar’d State again or...

I absolutely love this shop! They have the most adorable dresses, skirts, accessories, etc. The most amazing part of the store is their staff. I went there today and they had quite the crowd (busy Saturday) and all of the associates worked very hard to ensure each guest was greeted, asked if they could help them find anything, and helped everyone gathering items that were out of reach. There was a line at the dressing room yet they had several associates ensuring everyone had what they needed and worked hard to clear the dressing rooms for the next guest. Maria was amazing and she sweetly apologized to the guests for the line and thanked everyone for waiting. One of the best store experiences I have ever had! The atmosphere in this store is one that all stores should strive to have. Shelby was by far one of the most talented, genuine , and wonderful girls I have ever talked to! I will be shopping at this store again truly because of her (as well as the other employees and the store itself)! If you ever have the opportunity to get Shelbys advice on clothes or just talk to her in general she will change your whole mood and experience of this store.
