My experience with this location was absolutely horrible. I would give it zero stars if possible. My fiance and I went to get him fitted and the girl helping us seemed nervous to even touch him while doing his measurements. We told her we wanted a suit without the jacket (just a vest). She definitely pushed us to get a jacket saying things like "the boutonniere won't look right on just a vest" and "it's really not formal enough without one". I told her we were set with no jackets (she never asked the style or location of my wedding and perhaps that would've helped her understand). When we ordered it and they told us it would be here 2 days before the wedding, I asked if we could do anything to get it in earlier because I was nervous to see it on my now husband. He is big and tall and had never worn a suit and, of course, we wanted it to be perfect for our big day. Later, when I went with my dad to get his, I asked about getting it earlier and was told we could do a trial run. I put in the order for one right then and they said they would call when it came in. The salesman talked to my dad about how we really need jackets and wouldn't have a complete look without them. Ugh. Anyways, 2 weeks later I call to ask about the trial. The woman put me on hold and told me it might be awhile because it was prom season. (Every time we went in we were reminded to be patient because it was prom season. I understand that's a busy time of year for them, but for adults it's also wedding season and I had chosen this business to help my with my wedding day. They did a terrible job of making us feel important as customers.) Turns out, the trial run had never been ordered - great. So I ordered one that day on the phone and was told they weren't sure when to expect it because, guess what, it's prom season. In the end, we never got that trial either and his suit arrived 2 days before our wedding as we were originally told. He went and picked it up while I was at work. They had to add some fabric to either side of the vest so it would button. They took care of that within a few hours and it wasn't really a problem. However, when he tried it on for me that evening, I instantly knew we would have to go back. The vest was so short it was like a crop top. You could see white (his shirt) all the way around the vest and it in no way came down to his pants. It looked sloppy and definitely not the way I wanted my husband to look and feel on our wedding day. I was even more frustrated because he said he voiced concerns about it when he tried it on and he was told that's how it's supposed to fit. Anyone could see that it was way too short and the "professionals" just wanted to take advantage of someone who had never worn a suit and rush him out by saying it looked fine. The next morning (the day before the wedding), we went there first thing. We waited for a few minutes and a woman (I think the rental manager) asked if she could help us. She remembered him from the day before and he said the vest is just too short. She immediately said well there's nothing we can do about the length and I let her know we had to do something because this wasn't going to work. She offered us a backless vest that they didn't even have one in stock to show us, and we didn't want to do that especially since the guys weren't wearing jackets. She finally ended up talking to the seamstress and they said they could add additional fabric to the shoulder area to help it hang down some. They ended up adding 5 inches on both sides! Clearly it didn't fit right the first time. In the end, everyone looked great but if I could go back, I would choose to never deal with...
Read moreHaving the need for a suit and a Tux we ventured into The Men's Warehouse on Haywood Rd, Greenville SC. We were immediately greeted by a young man, Hunter. I told him what I needed and he went straight to work taking me on the journey of renting clothing for special events. It's more difficultt than it looks if you dont have a confident sales person! [ we had a dinner party Friday eve and a formal wedding the next day. My Daughter's Wedding! ] Hunter coordinated my 2 outfits with confidence. He measured me up, down all around. He matched the suits especially for me, threw in a bit of his clothig taste and guided me through the process. He did a beautiful job! I looked good too !
I browsed the shop and was surprised at the variety of Men's Clothes [ not just suits and coats ] but quality CASUAL men's clothes with wonderful pricing ! I was taken back especially the fair pricing. A men's store with great selection, fabric quality 100% and a selection of khakis in several colors. Men we've been shopping at the wrong stores paying 3 prices for our clothes! NO MORE !
A few days my suits were in, dropped by and Hunter was off. Have no fear ,Tommy was in the house. He had me try on everything inspecting every piece for size, look and accuracy. Another compidedent sales associate at the same men's clothing store. And he didn't know me at all! " What's going on here " ? team Work!
Along the way I spoke with Brook, who again was professional and accommodated a buyer she had never met ! All three of my experiences with this Team, everyone of them exhibited Leadership Qualities , something most business people or Entrepreneurs like myself would agree are almost impossible to find. So, this store Leader has 3 qualified Leaders pushing him/her to greatness! Thank you for what I thought to be a nightmare was just a stroll in the park ! See you...
Read moreToday my fiance and I went to Anderson, Mens Warehouse. Walking into the building I was overwhelmed because I have no prior knowledge to any of what is involved of picking a tux/suit for a wedding. We were kindly greeted by a woman who was trying to figure out the fire alarm (a young child pulled before we walked in). This woman greeted us, explained someone will be with us as soon as they could and that she was trying to stop the flashing light or she would have helped right then. After a few minutes of waiting the flashing light stopped and she greeted us again. I told her upfront I had no idea about where to start or anything about tuxes/suits. During the duration of our time there Rose brought us multiple examples of coats and explained different qualities of each. She talked us through the differences of tuxes and suits and qualities of each. She talked us through minor details I would have never thought of down to the cuff links. Let me just say this woman knows what she is talking about. She was beyond helpful in explaining and having patience with us through the process. She knew when to chime in her personal preferences and explained why she liked this item paired with another item or why two items fit together better. For any future tux/suits we will be going back to see Rose!! She is an exceptional example of professionalism, pouring out kindness and going above and beyond to explain her knowledge. I can say my fiance and I both walked out of there with more knowledge than when we walked in. Rose THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! We both were hesitant when we walked in the building (just the stresses of wedding planning) but we are very relieved YOU were there to make this such an...
