One of the most striking issues I encountered during my visit was the apparent lack of expertise among the store’s personnel when it comes to iOS software. Apple, renowned for its user-friendly ecosystem, should ideally have employees who are well-versed in the intricacies of their software. Unfortunately, my interaction with a staff member revealed a significant knowledge gap, which was disheartening, to say the least. The most frustrating aspect of my visit was the mishandling of a service request. I had arrived at the store with all the required documentation and information, ready to address an issue I was experiencing with my Apple device. However, to my astonishment, I was sent away and advised to contact Apple’s customer support. This led to a considerable waste of both time and energy, not to mention the financial resources expended on my visit to the store.

I am writing to express significant disappointment regarding my recent in-store experience at the Greenwich Avenue Apple Store.
My visit was to collect a preorder for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Upon arrival, I encountered a pervasive lack of customer service. I approached multiple staff members seeking assistance with my preorder collection and related questions; however, no one offered clarification or support. The overall demeanor of the staff was dismissive, giving the impression that they were inconvenienced by customer inquiries.
Furthermore, I attempted to inquire about the pricing of Apple Watch models. Despite repeated attempts to engage staff on this topic, I received no response or assistance.
The negative atmosphere was exacerbated by observed staff behavior. Several employees were noted to be conversing amongst themselves and not attending to customer needs, which directly contributed to the feeling of being ignored.
Having visited numerous Apple Stores globally, this interaction stands out as the single worst customer service experience I have encountered within the Apple brand. Due to this profoundly unhelpful visit, I ultimately had to take my business to Best Buy to fulfill my needs.

You already have an opinion on most Apple Products and there are more expert opinions than mine.
However, this review is about a sales person names James. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I went into the Greenwich Ave store. I had selected them before he became available. Nevertheless, he asked a few key questions and improved the attributes of my phone, watch, accessories etc.that I originally selected.
Then I said I’d like to get a preview Apple Vision Pro. I knew nothing about it. I was edgy the whole time I was with James as my second wife, the love of my life, had just left me and with her departure I will no longer be able to see her precious 2 year old granddaughter. James never blinked an eye at my snarky sarcastic comments and was always professional and kind.
James was demonstrating the Apple Vision Pro product and I began to cry realizing I would never be able to share this beautiful technology with my now departed wife and her granddaughter. The shear beauty of the pictures and videos were astounding. I virtually could have taken my wife and her granddaughter any where in the world. I needed to walk out of the store for 10 minutes to gather myself. James was waiting for me when I came back. I purchased the product and went to the National Parks that night. I had a few...
