I really cannot say enough about Victor Barbone Jewelry. Andria, the owner, probably got her Doctorate in Hospitality; she goes above and beyond to make sure that all of her customers questions and potential fears are settled.
As a savage single adult white male before engagement, I was fairly clueless about rings, jewelry, the engagement process, insurance, warranties, GIA; you know, important stuff. Andria, who I imagine is very busy running her store in New York City, always was incredibly prompt in returning my e-mail questions (lots of them). When I decided to pull the trigger on my now fiancee's ring (thanks, Andria and Victor Barbone Jewelry) Andria was able to split up my payments any which way I wanted, which was necessary in my case.
The selection of antique/vintage jewelry they have here is really stunning. Get your loved one one of her unique pieces of jewelry, its way cooler than going to Jared, or Zales, or whatever standard mall jewelry shop it is that comes to your mind. You get something from her, spend just as much as your would at any of those other shops and rest assured you will have a piece that really isn't like what everyone else is wearing. Make your loved one (or treat yo' self) feel like the unique love of your life (because they are, right?!) and get something that is truly one of a kind from this shop. Do it. They send your jewelry certified, insured, sign this, date this, safe mail so there is literally no fear of anything going wrong, unless it gets lost in the mail, then its insured.
Joking aside, I cannot wait to decorate my lady with all kinds of stuff from this shop for years to come. The unique accessories they have is really stunning but beyond that, and as someone who also works in hospitality, I will be returning over and over again because the experience I had, even though it was through the interwebs, was very personalized and over the top. Really can't say enough about good...
Read moreMy experience with Andria Barbone jewelry dates back to 2021 to when my fiancé and I first started engagement ring shopping. Fast forward to today and we just picked out our wedding bands with them (didn’t need or want to look anywhere else)! So 3 rings and 3+ years later, I would call myself a huge fan of their work and can’t recommend them highly enough.
But it’s not just about their astonishingly beautiful, unique collection of jewelry - that speaks for itself, check out the AB Instagram! It’s also about the attention to detail, the love for their craft, and the exquisite customer service of the AB Team.
As a customer, I make up my mind painfully slowly and definitely require a bit of hand holding to narrow down my selections, but I have never felt rushed or judged here. If anything, the AB Team welcomes questions and a discerning eye. They want you to love what you pick out, regardless of specs and numbers! So working with them feels like cultivating a lifelong relationship with a trusted jeweler, not like you’re just a price tag. Jewelry can impose big financial and emotional decisions, especially if you’re an anxious gal like me, so the level of trust I feel with Andria has been huge for me.
To recap…anyone who loves beautiful things, especially anyone who has an eye for antiques, would be in warm, ultra capable hands here. I genuinely don’t think there is a substitute for the Andria Barbone experience, anywhere. They are simply world class at what they do.
Thank you so much AB Team for helping my dream...
Read moreI couldn’t be more pleased with my experience buying a vintage engagement ring at Victor Barbone Jewelry. Their website and Instagram page are amazing — there are tons of photos and videos of every ring, with direct links to each ring’s GIA report. In comparing them with other NYC diamond vendors selling antique/vintage/estate rings, I found that Victor Barbone’s pricing was more competitive, their selection was more unique, and their website offered more information than their peers. We were visiting NYC from DC and really just had one day to make a purchase/sizing/appraisal happen. I emailed a month ahead of time to set up my appointment, and Malory promptly responded to all of my requests and questions. On the day of our appointment, Andria showed us the various rings we were interested in and also provided helpful insights into how to pair them with wedding bands. We had a lot of fun during our appointment, and her beautifully decorated office has an amazing view of the Empire State Building; it was just a very idyllic and memorable setting for such a momentous purchase. My ring was sized, appraised, and ready for pick-up by the end of the day, and we’re ecstatic with our purchase. Thank you so much,...
