Read moreToday 10/11/2024, while driving towards Greenwich, I stopped at a red light at Exit 3, heading northbound from New York. The light prohibits right turns on red, so I waited. Despite this, drivers behind me started honking aggressively. One by one, three cars maneuvered around me, illegally making right turns on red, even though the lane was for straight travel only. To make matters worse, the drivers showed me inappropriate gestures as they passed, making me feel very uncomfortable.
I captured the entire incident on my Tesla 360 dashcam, including their license plates as they ran the red light. I went to the police with this evidence, urging them to at least issue warnings to prevent future accidents. Shockingly, they dismissed my concerns, saying they needed to witness the violation themselves, leaving me frustrated and worried that this reckless behavior could lead to a serious accident.

Read moreThe cops in this town are a valuable resource who engage well with the community. At over 40,000 calls per year lately, I think they handle themselves very well at this volume in a time when they are short staffed and recruiting is the most difficult it’s ever been.
