My recent dining experience there was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the extraordinary talents of Chef Eric and the impeccable service provided by Waiter Stan.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with a warm ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable evening. The sleek, modern decor exuded sophistication, while the soft lighting created an inviting atmosphere perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebratory gathering.

Our culinary journey began with Chef Eric's meticulously crafted sushi creations, each bite a symphony of flavors and textures that danced on the palate. From the buttery richness of the toro to the delicate crunch of the tile fish, every dish showcased Chef Eric's mastery of his craft and his commitment to using the freshest, highest quality ingredients.

Throughout the meal, Waiter Stan provided flawless service, attending to our every need with grace and professionalism. His extensive knowledge of the menu and attentive demeanor elevated our dining experience, ensuring that each course of our omakase experience was perfectly timed and presented with care.

In addition to the exquisite sushi offerings, Sushi Wafu also boasts an impressive selection of Japanese-inspired cocktails and sake pairings, expertly curated to complement the flavors of the cuisine.

In summary, if you're seeking an unparalleled dining experience that celebrates the artistry of sushi and Japanese cuisine, look no further than Sushi Wafu. With Chef Eric at the helm and Waiter Stan guiding your culinary journey, you're sure to be treated to a feast for the senses that will linger in your memory long after the last sushi has...

I have been here twice now. I really would like this restaurant to succeed because the staff is extremely friendly and the sushi is top tier. Greenwich has been in desperate need of a restaurant that offers high quality, authentic sushi. The space itself is gorgeous and the restaurant has so much potential. My two suggestions are to please create a QR code menu that is updated daily to show what fish you have or have a menu printed of the fish that you actually have in stock. Both times I've gone, I have had to change my order more than once because the fish I wanted was not available. I understand that you do not have all the fish listed on the menu because it is sourced fresh, so please create a system where you show the selection that you actually have. It takes away from the experience when the servers are unaware of what is available and have to go check. My other suggestion is to please play more ambient background music. Both times I've gone, very cheesy 80's music has been playing that makes the space feel awkward. It doesn't make sense with the vibe of the chic looking restaurant. Other than that, the food itself is comparable to sushi offered in NYC and I will be...

I don't think I could recommend this restaurant. We did the Omakase option and while the food was delicious, it was obvious the restaurant was not prepared and the atmosphere was odd. We waited over 40 minutes from sitting down to receive food. Anyone who ordered a drink was already finished long before service started. The fish was already pre-sliced and we were waiting 40+ minutes for the rice. Once the rice came out they started serving. They have two set times for Omakase so it feels like they should have been ready.

They were also playing 70/80's music throughout the night which didn't suit an elevated dining experience. Listening to Blondie and Take on Me was strange, especially at this price point.

The food was very tasty once it began and while the staff were attentive and kind I don't think I will be returning nor could I recommend choosing the restaurant to...

Every single course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. The quality of the fish was top-tier, and the flavors were perfectly balanced from start to finish. The chef’s attention to detail and passion for their craft truly elevated the entire evening. The ambiance was intimate and relaxing, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. I had such a great time and left feeling completely satisfied and impressed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a special dining experience — this was easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had!
