Read moreI have been here twice now. I really would like this restaurant to succeed because the staff is extremely friendly and the sushi is top tier. Greenwich has been in desperate need of a restaurant that offers high quality, authentic sushi. The space itself is gorgeous and the restaurant has so much potential. My two suggestions are to please create a QR code menu that is updated daily to show what fish you have or have a menu printed of the fish that you actually have in stock. Both times I've gone, I have had to change my order more than once because the fish I wanted was not available. I understand that you do not have all the fish listed on the menu because it is sourced fresh, so please create a system where you show the selection that you actually have. It takes away from the experience when the servers are unaware of what is available and have to go check. My other suggestion is to please play more ambient background music. Both times I've gone, very cheesy 80's music has been playing that makes the space feel awkward. It doesn't make sense with the vibe of the chic looking restaurant. Other than that, the food itself is comparable to sushi offered in NYC and I will be...
Read moreI don't think I could recommend this restaurant. We did the Omakase option and while the food was delicious, it was obvious the restaurant was not prepared and the atmosphere was odd. We waited over 40 minutes from sitting down to receive food. Anyone who ordered a drink was already finished long before service started. The fish was already pre-sliced and we were waiting 40+ minutes for the rice. Once the rice came out they started serving. They have two set times for Omakase so it feels like they should have been ready.
They were also playing 70/80's music throughout the night which didn't suit an elevated dining experience. Listening to Blondie and Take on Me was strange, especially at this price point.
The food was very tasty once it began and while the staff were attentive and kind I don't think I will be returning nor could I recommend choosing the restaurant to...
