I used to go to the West Village Rag & Bone, but now I’m a lot closer to Greenwich. I love Rag and Bone and I wear their Knit TShirts, Chinos, jackets, and sweaters & probably spent $1200-$1500 between online and store shopping last year. I also had on several occasions been helped by Angela, who is super helpful and always looks for a discount for me. It grieves me to report that I was in the Greenwich store twice in the last few months and this is likely a result of NOT Seeing Angela on the floor when I went in, but on both occasions I had not great interactions with other staff there. A young guy named Jamar on both occasions helped me and seemed tremendously impatient, dictatorial, and humorless. When I asked to try on clothes he impatiently grabbed them and put them in back, as if I’d run off with them.He also seemed unwilling to answer any questions about sale items. The real problem was when I purchased 5 items he plain refused to return the one item I brought back and instead insisted, after we checked out, that we stand and wait until another staff member was free to process our return. We waited another 5-10 minutes for a young woman to be free and she completed this transaction without giving us any kind of receipt. ( I asked for the total and she actually rolled her eyes and said “ I can’t remember off the top of my head” , got it, and stalked off).My guess is he didn’t want his sales total for the day to be impacted by the return , and she was upset because she had to do his job - I don’t blame her. A really bad customer experience for me in my favorite clothing...

At the end of July, a SoHo store assistant confirmed to order a pair of sandal for me from CT Greenwich store b/c SoHo doesn't have a pair in mint condition. He got my address and credit card info and said it would be ordered right away. The order was not placed by SoHo. I called Greenwich store after 4 days to place the order. But the shoe was shipped to a wrong address. I provided the right address as showed in the sales receipt. Then I had to call the Greenwich store, FedEx and then the store multiple times to clarify the situation. The store manager said they will update me soon. No call from them in the following week. I called them twice. Finally, today they found the shoes and asked to reship it to me. I asked for a 20% discount to compensate for my time before they ship it again. The answer was no. As a result, I asked for the full refund. I haven't had such irresponsible and disrespectful customer service from any merchants in the U.S., no matter their goods priced lower or higher...
