The first time I visited Semion's Barbershop I arrived a few minutes before closing without a reservation. I knew it it was a shot in the dark but a kind man cutting hair near the door pointed me to a chair to wait in and said they'd fit me in. I was relieved and sat patiently just glad to be seen by the first available barber. The kind gentleman came over after finishing up with his current client and carefully listened, actually listened, to what I wanted and proceeded to give me the best haircut I think I've ever had. Come to find out, in casual conversation, the kindly man was Semion himself. He told me that you never know when someone needs a last minute cut for a special occasion or event and he always makes it a point to accommodate. Even though it was late, he didn't rush and made me feel at home in his establishment.

The second time I visited, I made a reservation but just selected the first available barber as it was a same day booking. I was a little nervous but I again left with a haircut that was as perfect as you can get. Not only is the owner a top notch barber but he chooses and trains his staff to be of equal caliber. Our son decided to cut his hair short very suddenly after 6 years of having a ponytail. He has thick, very full and curly hair and its very hard to cut his hair evenly. We looked up many many salons and barbershops near by and schedule an appointment with one of them with fear. The night before our appointment Semion barbershop popped up on my Instagram and I checked them out and absolutely loved the before/after pictures on Instagram and the reviews on google. I specifically noticed Rayann's name on most of the reviews. Called my son and showed him the place and their Instagram and he immediately said please cancel my other appointment and see if Rayanne is available and thank God she was. We did show her just a few pictures of what he had in mind and she listened very carefully took her time and did an amazing job. She kept checking with us for the length of the hair and showed him exactly how to style it when she was done. She is an amazing hairstylist and hope she stays here for ever. The salon is also very clean very chic with very friendly staff. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was very pleasant to talk to and very passionate about his job. Well, today was a nice surprise. I had a business trip coming up and had to find someplace quick to get my haircut. Quick Google search point of me to Simeon‘s new location in Greenwood Village. I had not heard it, but I saw the great reviews so I thought this might be a good spot to check out. Since moving back to Colorado five years ago, I have not been able to find a barber that makes my cut exactly the way I like it. I figured why not give this place a shot. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. I got cut by the owner himself Simeon. We had a great conversation. At the time of this writing and the time of my cut, this location had only been open for 10 days well. The cut went so well I decided to give my eyebrows a wax as well and fortunately met up with their new aesthetician, Victoria. It was Victoria‘s first day so the stars really did a line for me. Victoria shaped my eyebrows exactly the way that I wanted them. Clean but yet still manly. If you’re like me and are still looking for the right Barbershop, this is the place.
