If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Colorado, look no further! This place lives up to their reputation of importing their ingredients from Italy. I could tell that’s the truth because normally pasta made here in the U.S. makes me feel bloated and tired after I eat it, but that wasn’t the case at all with the pasta I had here. I had the tagliatelle salmone with a pink vodka sauce. The noodles had an incredible bite and texture and the sauce was to die for. However, the amount of salmon in the dish was extremely sparse. I’m not even sure if it was three ounces total of little salmon pieces. For the price of $24, I honestly would have been put off had it not been for just how good the pasta, veggies, and sauce were. And fortunately because it’s pasta, it was still filling. The person I was with ordered the special of the day, a white fish with mashed potatoes and broccolini. I tried some of it, and everything was also very good (best broccolini I’ve had). Once again, we thought the portion of the fish was a tad on the small side for the price however. The olive oil cake for dessert was also phenomenal. Not overbearing with the olive oil flavor at all and one of the softest cakes I’ve ever had, made better by the fact that it stayed warm throughout the whole time eating it. Our server was very helpful, and the food came fairly fast and fresh. Check out some fun old marketing ads on the bathroom walls. An easy recommend for authentic Italian in Colorado, but definitely expect quality over quantity and to splurge a bit here since it’s not cheap (no bread or anything complimentary is included either). I will definitely be back to try their pizzas.

🍝 New Spot Alert! 🍝 Just had an incredible meal at a new Italian gem where every staff member is from Italy—so you already know it’s authentic! 🇮🇹 Started with the Fritto di Mare, a crispy delight of calamari, shrimp, and zucchini. So light and perfectly fried. For pasta, we tried the Mezzi Rigatoni Amatriciana and wow! The tomato sauce, pecorino romano, and especially that guanciale hit just right. It’s like comfort in a bowl! But the standout for me? The Tagliatelle al Ragu. Rich, savory ragu with ground meat, tomato sauce, and parmigiano reggiano… I'm still dreaming about it! To finish, we shared a Cannolo Moderno—perfectly crispy and creamy. Ideal for sharing (if you can bear to share it!) 😋 On top of all that, I’m loving the vibe of the place; they really transformed the space. Can’t wait to go back!

🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 VA BENE! A truly authentic Italian “fairy tale”—warm, vibrant, and utterly delicious. From the moment you step through the door, Na Favola envelops you in the spirit of a lively Roman trattoria—complete with “ciao” greetings, cozy red tablecloths, and a joyful buzz that feels like a grand family gathering . The owners and team hail directly from Italy—with every ingredient, from buffalo mozzarella to prosciutto di Parma, thoughtfully sourced to honor their heritage. The food? Pure, unpretentious comfort. We savored handmade pastas and Roman-style “pinsa” pizzas that were light, crispy, and crafted with love. This isn’t fancy reinterpretation—it’s the kind of meal your nonna would serve, rich in flavor and culture.

We really enjoyed our first trip in. There was a short wait for a Friday night. Just 20 minutes. The place was full. The hostess was very welcoming. Once seated the first thing we noticed was the sound level was quite noisy with conversations all around us. Wonder if some ceiling sound buffering in the main dining room would help this. Difficult at times to have a conversation. They do have an enclosed patio area that we heard was less noisy. Menu... Great menu with lots of choices in pasta dishes, antipasto and desserts. We started with Friti de Mare (Calimari, shrimp and zucchini) Very nicely cooked and delicious. I ordered a margherita pizza and my wife a salmon pasta dish. Both were very good! Initial service was great but got slower with each course. I would definately like to go back and try again on a less busy night. Our server was friendly but needed to be on top of service a little more. We had to wait a considerable amount of time for her to come offer dessert. We ordered the olive oil cake and a tiramisu. I ordered an espresso on the side. Dessert came and was very nice... however... she didn't bring my espresso and was nowhere to be seen to flag her down. If I order an espresso with dessert it kind of needs to be served at the same time as the dessert (note to owners... this does affect table turn over andis a shortcoming in service etiquette.) The restaurant is fairly new and I was excited to find an Italian restaurant that had food that made me excited to try. We will be back and maybe the service will improve a little more with time. I think we will request the patio area next time. Looking forward...

Seems to be authentic Italian. Once we ordered it seemed like the server submitted the order and it immediately came out. I guess that was a good thing. Just seemed weird. The flavors were very good in the dish I ordered but waaaay overpriced for what you get. Nothing comes with your pasta. No salad. Not even bread. The pasta barely covered the dish it was served in. It listed prosciutto as the meat in my dish but must have been very finely chopped up or something because I had trouble spotting any. It's a small restaurant which is fine but it was so loud that my friend and I couldn't hear each other talk and it made it difficult to hear the server explain any questions or tell us about specials. They were all very nice and very attentive though and the restaurant is clean and again the flavors were very good in my cream sauce but it just felt short of something. I wouldn't necessarily recommend the place, mainly because of the pricing for what you get on your plate. I hope they can do something about the noise level by doing something with a ceiling or the floor or even put a few booths in to help absorb some of the noise. We were offered dessert of course but out of the 6 (I think) I only recognized 1 and my friend had to Google the rest to find out what they were. I would love to have them succeed, as I love Italian food. The tables were completely full. It is located in a high end neighborhood (Cherry hills) so perhaps the high prices aren't...
