Love this placeābest frozen yogurt around! Only wish they stayed open later. Closing so early at 7pm makes it tough to stop by after dinner. Their previous closing time at 8pm was better, but 9pm or 10pm would be perfect. Iād come way more often with later hours! PLEASE CONSIDER A LATER CLOSING TIME! THANK YOU!
Previous review: Definitely some of the best tasting and most reasonably priced frozen yogurt around. Very friendly staff. Always very clean. Would love to see more flavors available more consistently and have them be open more consistently and later than 8pm. Over the past 3 weeks, I have stopped by many times and was disappointed because either they were closed early (at 6pm), the yogurt machines were shut down/yogurt shack was not open (bread store was), or they had a very limited selection of flavors. I was in on Friday night and they only had 3 random flavors available that didn't appeal to me. I love their vanilla, cotton candy, and mountain blackberry flavors. Would be great if there were more seasonal flavors (peppermint stick for the Christmas season; caramel apple, pumpkin spice or pumpkin pie for the fall; more fruit flavors for the summer like peach, blueberry, raspberry, mango, etc.). Other great flavors to maybe consider: strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, banana cream pie/pudding, and cupcake batter. As a frozen yogurt lover, I appreciate the Yogurt Shack for being open and serving the community. Would love to give 10 stars (if the ratings went that high) if more consistently open during their posted hours, open later until 10pm or at least 9pm, had more reliable machines that didn''t break down as easily and often and/or aren't turned off as frequently so the full capacity of flavors was more reliably available, and if there was a larger selection of flavors with more...
Read moreThis is easily one of my favorite places to visit with my children. Not only do they have amazing bread, pastries, and sandwiches, but they have the best frozen yogurt bar ever. Typically when we go, it is to get some frozen yogurt. They have plenty of flavors and a mesmerizing selection of toppings and flat rate pricing. We generally get the 8 oz cup (which can hold A LOT of yogurt and toppings. I like to fill my cup halfway and then put the toppings in parfait style so that they don't roll off the top of what soon amounts to a frozen yogurt mountain). It's $2.50 for a cup like that. At most places it would likely be between $5-$8 depending. They run some other daily specials on frozen yogurt and they do have larger cups which cost a bit more if the 8oz is too flimsy for you. If that weren't enough, they have free bread samples at the counter. They will cut you a big thick slice of your choice of what is being offered that day. Cinnamon bread, Blueberry Cheesecake bread, Cheese and jalapeño bread, etc. If you go, make sure to sign up for their rewards program through your cell phone. At 15 points (which is about 4 visits for me and my kids), you earn a free loaf of your choice or a free sandwich. Sometimes they send out other freebies over text as well. Not too long ago, they sent me a text telling me to come and claim a free loaf of honey wheat bread. Their sandwiches are amazing. Everything is homemade. Seriously, you can't go wrong...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday I drove 10 miles to get my free honey wheat bread. It was 2:00. Great Harvest where I have always gone is one more of my favorite bread bakeries, until TODAY! The young man in charge said we are out of the honey wheat bread. Promotion said buy one bread and receive a free honey wheat bread. I understand being sold out, I asked said young man could he substitute a lower priced bread and I would pay for the Kansa Crunch or one of the seed breads. His reply is he couldn't do that. I think there should have been a concession to me a client if 20 years!! This left a very bad taste in my mouth, and not Honey Wheat taste!! The moral of the story is don't hire young kids who aren't able to make a decision to not lose a valuable longtime customer like myself!! Driving the 10 miles and leaving without a bread cost Great Harvest on Orchard and University a lot of BREAD. I will call a Manager tomorrow morning! Dan in Denver Today I met Sarah the manager and she made everything right. I was disappointed on Tuesday and overreacted when the free honey wheat bread promotion was gone. I learned call or go early on Tuesday's until mid August. Sarah gave me a cinnamon roll to show my 20 year appreciation of being a loyal customer of Great Harvest. Thank you Sarah and Great...
