My husband and I were looking for a gluten free and dairy free pizza option nearby and Sazza was one of the only options. We customized our pizza and replaced the cheese blend with the vegan cashew sauce. I had previously written a review as the pizza we received was a bit burnt, however I wanted to change this review after speaking with Jeff (either the manager or owner, I'm not sure which). He sent me a personal email and advised me the pizza I had was 100% a mistake and is not the type of pizza they serve, or quality expected. He was kind enough to give us the opportunity to try their pizza again, which we did. It was truly wonderful the 2nd time around. As someone who loves cheese and just recently realized I have a food intolerance it's so difficult to find a good vegan cheese option. The 2nd pizza we had was fantastic and when we picked it up they opened the box before giving it to me (which I appreciated as that may have been a quality check, I'm not sure). Anyway, if you need a vegan cheese replacement their pizza is delicious and definitely satisfies that craving. We'll definitely be back!

I'm hesitant to write this review... but only because I don't want everyone to find out about this place!!! I have been searching for a place locally that has *quality ingredients and tastes GREAT. I have been focusing on eating better quality foods and that includes narrowing down where I can eat pizza. And this place fits that requirement! They have pizza with limited ingredients in their dough. They have low moisture mozzarella cheese and their pizza just tastes DELICIOUS. I am already looking forward to going back. My favorite pizza right now is the Verdi, but with red sauce and all mozzarella cheese. It's so freakin' good! My husband always goes for the BBQ Chicken, but the Cheeseburger pizza is also delicious! Also, the staff here is so friendly and kind. Thank you for making this restaurant an all-around great experience!

Quaint and Rustic vibe with variety of Organic Pizza and Salads. Shared a sausage and mushroom pizza that was sooo flavorful and had a thin crust that was just PERFECT! Garden Salad with a tasty lite creamy dressing was so FRESH, you'll want to eat every morsel! Enjoyed a nice IPA and was so impressed with the Dessert Pizza - thin crust topped with fresh, sliced strawberries and blueberries, drizzled with brown sugar --- so good we even ate the leftover dessert cold, later. Friendly service by people who you can tell like their job! 😃

My husband and I just had the worst customer service experience at Sazza. We ordered our food, and at the counter there were some bread strips with oil and vinegar. My husband thought they were samples and got one. An employee behind the counter smiled at him as he did it, so he assumed it was fine to take them. He was very hungry so went back to get a few more. He grabbed a plate from where they are easily within reach of customers and fixed himself a little appetizer. Nobody said anything, and he assumed they were there for the taking. We were sitting at the table, and a man who I later learned is the manager came up and asked, "Did one of my friends get that for you?" My husband answered that they had not. The manager then snatched the plate up and said, "Don't touch my stuff," as he walked away. My husband said, "I'm so sorry," and then we sat in shock for a few seconds. My husband went back to the counter and asked politely if we could have the food to go. I started to feel uncomfortable after the manager's rude treatment. A mistake was made, but it was unintentional. I had paid with my card, so I said I was going to ask for a refund so we could leave. I approached the counter, and the employee behind it said they were getting our order together. The manager was over by the plates in the hallway. I said, "No, we just want our money back because he was very rude." I pointed in the manager's direction. The manager said nothing, and just started to laugh at me, as did two other employees who were standing there. This angered my husband, who started yelling at the manager and walked toward him. The manager then pushed my husband, and they continued to laugh at us. After a little more yelling, my husband walked out of the side door as I waited for my refund. One kind employee asked me what had happened, and I explained, and then another kind employee started working on my refund. Meanwhile, another customer apparently asked the waiter what had happened, and I heard him start to tell the customer that the manager had gone over and politely told us something about the bread strips. I interrupted his story to explain what had actually happened. If the manager had come up and said, "These aren't for customer self-service. Next time please ask us," we would've apologized profusely and insisted on paying for the bread strips. Instead, he snapped at us and then added to the insult by mockingly laughing when I said he was rude. He even could've salvaged the situation by apologizing for his rudeness when we approached the counter for the refund. If he had said, "I apologize if I came across as rude," nobody would've yelled, and we probably would've apologized for the mistake and left with our pizza. Instead, he chose to escalate it more by laughing, which other employees also did. My husband did get verbally heated, but there was no need for the manager to put hands on him. The waiter who had laughed did apologize to me on the way out. I thanked him for his apology, but it was all too late. The whole situation could've been avoided with a little tact and customer service skill. It's unfortunate because we will...

This is a little gem of a place in a very busy strip shopping center. They boast about being organic and "purely sourcing" ingredients. I usually don't care too much about that - I'm more about the end result. IE: Does it taste good?!

In this case, the answer is a resounding yes. Their pizza is super thin crust, and cooked quickly in a very hot oven. If you're looking for fat, doughy crust, this isn't the place. The crust has just a little crispy edge to add some textural contrast. There are so many ingredients to pick from and they will happily make whatever you want. Many of the "stock" pizzas are also very interesting combinations. I didn't have a salad, but my companions did, and gave it solid thumb's up. My vegan guests were both very pleased with their options - something hard to find at many restaurants. I had sausage and green peppers and toppings were fresh and tasty. They have a decent selection of beer and wine.

You order at a counter, then seat yourself in the small-ish dining room. There is some outside seating as well. The guy who took our rather coomplicated order (lots of substitutions) read everything back to make they got it right, and they did. The decor is simple and a little industrial, in a nice way. All food came out very quickly, and my 4 other guests were all extremely pleased with their meals. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here.

Value - it was $95 for 5 including two beers (no other drinks) tax and a small tip. That's a lot, but given the quality of the food and service, still good value. We will...

WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!!!!! My family and I came here for dinner, we ordered two pizzas and two salads. Half way through my daughters salad we realized they are using latex gloves (myself and my daughter are allergic to latex!) not thinking to specify the allergy in the beginning because most all restaurants non latex food grade gloves! (This is now becoming a requirement in the food industry). As I expressed my concern to the waitress she said she would grab her manager. We had obviously quit eating the salad at this point and waited for the manager. She strolled over clearly not taking this seriously from the beginning and asked what the problem was. I explained what had happened and she said “well your pizza just came out of the oven.. so are you going to eat it or not?” I explained to her again what it means when someone has an allergy and said we don’t want the food. She then said “well it’s cooked now so you have to pay for it” and tried to make up some bogus excuse on why they use latex. I didn’t care to argue with her because CLEARLY she did not understand what it means when a person has an allergy. She only refunded one of the small pizzas and sent us on our way with the food to go!! To go??!! I just told this lady we couldnt eat it. We threw it away and headed straight to the Benadryl. I have been a server for years and this behavior wouldn’t fly anywhere else!!This place is awful and I do not recommend it. Not only is the staff incompetent but they are rude and clearly do not care about...
