Unreasonable prices & an AI generated logo.

As a collector I constantly go to collector stores, antique shops, thrift stores, you name it.. I'm there.

Personally, I don't think the owners know how to price their merchandise. I've gone a handful of times since opening and the same few items have been there the whole time for the same high price. I've seen beaten down old toys being sold for $20+ when it's not nearly worth that much originally, or especially in that condition. Trying to shop at Twisted Treasures feels like searching through delusional ebay reseller prices. Sure, you're paying for a curated thrifting experience, you could say that. But if you've ever been to Coin Corner & Hobbies or Mainstreet Collectors Mall (rest in peace), you know how just terrible pricing is here.

My biggest complaint however is the AI generated picture in their logo. With how high your prices are, surely you could've payed for an actual artist? Or even used some of the free art that's online? A lot of people in Portland, and a lot of collectors WILL and ARE being turned away from AI. Once I realized the sign was AI, I stopped going, and I urged the collectors in my life to stop going aswell. If you don't change anything, please just change this. It's such a bad look...

We had so much fun visiting this tucked away treasure! We found some shirts, books, art work, and figures we’d been looking for to complete a couple sets we’ve been on the look for!! And for better prices than we started our collections with. The kids found the grab bags and who can say no to the core memory 🥰 of those! Also found some items my family had been hunting for as well. The staff was sweet and answered questions and showed us things we’d missed initially. Such a darling shop in a great location. Thank you ladies AGAIN for humoring all my ENDLESS questions! Will be visiting again soon. OH! And with the holidays coming up, this is a good spot to find that unique or nostalgic gift for your hard to buy for...

So grateful for this addition to Gresham! I have been in three times now and found new treasures each time. It seems that the vendors change their offerings more frequently than the other consignment shops nearby. Love the vibe in here,...
