I have come across Wanderfolk spirits in stores before and have gotten some Prairie Wolf vodka, but haven't really tried their other liquors. Was looking for things to do for a day trip in Guthrie and stumbled across their distillery tour and decided to go with a Saturday @4pm booking. We got there 10 minutes before the tour started and sat down at the Wander Inn where the tour started. The bartender greeted us and was super welcoming in seating us down and interacting and checking up on us as we waited for our tour to start. It was only the 2 of us on tour, and our tour guide Snappy made it really special! She led us through a brief yet fascinating historical overview of Oklahoma's history with the Prohibition and alcohol laws. I should preface and say that we enjoy tasting spirits but seldom do we partake in tasting them, especially just neat. We were able to taste the Prairie Wolf gin and the Garden Society Gin next to each other, as well as the 2 Garden Society vodkas, a Coffee Liqueur, as well as a handful of whiskeys and ryes in the whiskey/rye aging house. It was really a great experience getting to learn more about the spirits as well as the efforts that go behind developing them. You can taste the difference between their spirits and some of the more artificially flavored products on the market (esp vodka). We would've never learned some of our favorite types of spirits if not for this visit - we really felt like it broadened our horizon and was a grand ol' fun time! For $30 for 2 we felt like it was a steal. We also ended up buying a few bottles for ourselves and family/friends, and there was a great discount for buying over 6 bottles, with the prices being quite reasonable to begin with. We also stayed for Grayson Graham's live music @7pm and enjoyed his music a lot as well. We would love to take some out of state friends and return some time in the future. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to support a local distillery who distills and...
Read moreWe discovered WanderFolk Spirits through their sponsorship and support of the Lost Ogle/Hoot Industries Trivia. Nestled in downtown Guthrie, WanderFolk is surrounded by Oklahoma history, history of prohibition, and history of distilling culture in the state. My group of 6 was delighted to win a distillery tasting and tour and boy was it fun.
For expert and novice alike, WanderFolk takes you on a journey about the history of the distillery itself, and also in the history of distilling in Oklahoma. As we were tasting their vodkas, gins, whiskeys, and coffee liqueur, Jeff explained in detail the processes in creating these products and the notes we should be experiencing with each sip. As a spirits novice myself, Jeff was fantastic in answering our numerous questions in the science of distilling, the history of distilling, the differences between spirits, and how WanderFolk creates its own recipes.
Throughout this tour, we saw the facility where gin is made, the warehouse for distribution, and countless barrels with different products in the aging process.
I was informed a tour and tasting for 2 people is $30 and that’s such a great price with all the products you can taste and the access they show you during the tasting.
They also have a store with their products as well as t-shirts, glasses, and other keepsakes.
Would highly recommend any spirit novice (like myself) or a connoisseur to try out WanderFolk. The staff like Jeff is so knowledgeable, friendly,...

Duty and his staff provided awesome service and made our entire party feel welcome.
I should start by saying, I am not an aficionado or professional spirits drinker, just a normal dude. So my knowledge of distillery nomenclature and science is bottom of the barrel stuff.
That being said…
At the beginning of the tour, we were provided a rich history behind the distillery and the role it played in Oklahoma!
We discussed everything, from the original local news clippings and photos they had framed and displayed throughout the lounge, to the local and exotic ingredients they use in their spirits.
For many of us in our group, we had never participated in a spirit tasting, but Duty was there to walk us through and provide a plethora of knowledge pertaining to their craft. Everything from the gin, vodka, and bourbon was amazing… and I thought I would never like gin, the garden party is delightful and fresh!
After the countless tastings, we then pushed our chairs in and got to tour the Distillery, followed by their spirits aging house, where they keep all of their White Oak barrels and other cask containers. We even got to taste some rare espresso dessert whiskey from one of the barrels. We got some great pictures too!
We grabbed some bottles of our favorites and some merch on our way out (Burgundy Old Moses T-shirt). We can’t wait to come back and enjoy more...
