I had a long struggle with finding the dress- I never had the “this is the one” moment while trying on. After months of searching, and one month before my wedding, I drove by AFINA at night with the window lit and thought I might as well give it a try.

When I went in the next day, as a plus size bride, I worried about the availability of my size, as well as the cost. The amazing women who worked here immediately said “we have your size” and “we will save you money”.

The second dress they got me into, was just gorgeous, and I loved the way it fit. It was unique to anything else I had tried on and I loved it. It was a little beyond my budget so I took a few days to think about it.

Today, about a week later, I knew that the dress was the one. I went back in to see the beautiful and skilled Alina and Sophia, and they pulled out the exact dress, and to help me with costs, included a petticoat and garment bag. They were gracious, patient, skillful, quick, and truly kind and FUN!! I needed no alterations, and was able to carry the dress out of the store today!

I am so thankful to finally feel peace about my wedding dress and can’t wait to wear it in three weeks- haha!! I truly recommend this shop to any bride, especially those of us who are still waiting for that special moment.

At first, I thought, “I’ll take something simple and fitted.” Then I saw short dresses, then sequins, feathers, pearls… In short, my head was spinning. But here the consultant is a real lifesaver and a master of her craft.

She patiently listened to all my “I want this… no, actually…” and offered such amazing options that I almost cried with happiness. She also explained how to adjust the dress to make it absolutely perfect.

Oh, and let me tell you, the accessories here are crazy! You can find earrings, bracelets, and even a crown to go with your dress! (Who knows, maybe you are a queen!)👸🏼
