We've had two dinners at this new Uzbek restaurant in one week, both so good. We had three different kabobs (chicken, liver and lula), fried potatoes with mushrooms, a trio of salads (carrot, beet, and cabbage) and the warm, fresh bread. On our second visit we got the trio of salads again (I couldn't stop thinking about it), lagman soup (a hearty meat soup with hand-pulled noodles) and chicken tabaka with fries (crispy garlicky chicken grilled under a brick). All the food tastes homemade in the best way. The service here is warm and attentive, the servers are happy to explain and reccomend dishes. 🥟 The Food: Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. We started with the samsa, which had a crispy, flaky crust and a deliciously spiced filling. The lagman soup was hearty and comforting, full of rich broth and tender noodles. The plov—a signature Uzbek rice dish—was perfectly seasoned and generous in portion. And the kebabs? Juicy, tender, and grilled...
Read moreWe came here with a big group to try out this Uzbek restaurant. The salads were fresh and pretty authentic. Next we move onto the meat…the chicken tapakah was good. The lamb kebab was soft and juicy but was over salted….the manti however was very delicious, juicy and flavorful. The pielmeni (Russian dumplings) was also good and delicious. The fried pelmeni however was overcooked…the Samsa was full of meat and good. Also to note, it would have been nice if the waitress would do a better job at coming back to check on if everyone’s meal was good but also provide any additional sauces etc…I asked for ketchup and the waitress completely forgot and also didn’t speak any English. I suggest having English speaking as well for customers who don’t speak Russian out of courtesy and...
