A trip to the Hammond Target usually ends up being more than just a quick errand for me—it turns into part of my day. The last time I went, I planned to grab a few groceries, but like always, I found myself wandering around the store a bit longer than expected.
I started in the grocery section to pick up milk and bread. Everything was neat, shelves were stocked, and I even grabbed a couple of snacks that caught my eye on an end cap. From there, I wandered through home goods and spotted some seasonal décor that ended up in my cart. It’s hard to resist when everything is displayed so nicely.
I stopped by electronics to look at phone chargers, and an employee noticed me searching. They didn’t just point me to the aisle—they actually walked me over and made sure I found what I needed. Little moments like that make shopping here feel personal.
By the time I reached checkout, my “quick trip” had turned into a full basket. The cashier was friendly, quick, and even commented on one of the items I bought, which made the interaction feel more human.
Leaving the store, I felt like I had accomplished everything I needed in one stop, plus treated myself a little. That’s why I keep coming back—Hammond Target makes everyday errands feel less like a chore and more like a part of my routine I...
Read moreI went with the idea that Target would have a large stock of finer thread count sheets. Too my disappointment I found the reality otherwise. There were no sheet with a thread count larger than 300, and only 1 style sheet in the size I wanted to purchase. There were only 3 terriible colors to choose from except the drab white and cream, and there was a color lot dye problem in the matching pillow cases. I quess for the price I paid I will probably only shop at DH Holmes for the same amount of money and better quality product. Needless to say my purchases will be returned for a refund and I will not shop at this facility at any location. And in closing there was not one person in this or the surrounding department that could be of assistance, but there were 6 clerks gathered behind the check out area engaged in a rather loud, funny playful conversation which were of no help what so ever to any customers. When has a job description include partying on the job and screw the cusomers. I will spend my money somewhere else from this pointon. SORRY TARGET, MY BUSINESS IS NORE VALUABLE AT STORES WHERE I AM RESPECTED NO MATTER HOW...
Read moreTarget is becoming "Theft City".There was a lady who literally ran out the store with a bag full of personal items and all the lady said (while yelling) "Your Band From This Store"..And that was just going in. That same day while checking out..A guy literally had two scooters in his basket. Three people asked "If he had a receipt" and he just walked out the store. What made it worse was he didn't even run so they could have caught him. I'm not sure what the policy is on theft "Or if they even care"??? But to see two people (a male and a female) literally walk out the store the same day and nothing was done because both times they just shrugged there shoulders and told the lady she was banned...Tells me that employees (or security) no longer care about there jobs. This is the reason I stopped going to Walmart and looks like I won't be dealing with Target. If I didn't have to put a star to write a review, it would have gotten none..DO...
