Poor customer service not only from this store, but JCP in general. I purchased 4 pair of jeans, which were buy 1 get 1 half off. I noticed only one rang up half off. The cashier “didn’t know” why the other didn’t ring up, and she said there was “nothing she could do about it”. I should have asked for the manager then and there but I could tell she was getting aggravated. 3 days later I come back with the receipt and tags of the jeans. A rude customer associate told me I had to have the jeans, and that there was nothing else that could be done. I was not trying to return the jeans, I just wanted my money back for what should have been discounted in the first place. She then tried to argue that some styles weren’t on sale, but EVERY section of men’s Levi jeans had the sign displayed, so there were no exclusions. To make things worse, she said if I don’t come back with the merchandise by the next day when the sale ends, they will not be able to refund me my money that should have been discounted on day one. Read moreWorst customer service by members of management ever!!!! Went to Penneys tonight to purchase a new purse and wallet. Spent over 1/2 an hour selecting the products I wanted. When I reached the cash register the clerk took the wallet I had selected and said there was an "emergency stop sale" on it and she couldn't sell it to me. She let me speak to the Cashier Supervisor whom I questioned because the item was on the shelf and priced to be sold so they basically had to sell it to me. She stated she couldn't and wouldn't sell it to me and that was that.....when I wanted to continue the conversation was was basically brushed off and treated as if I were insignificant. Read moreThis location is a sorry excuse for retail. The back to school sale has been going on since early July and there hasn't been a single new shipment of new school clothes. The store is severely understaffed, there's never more then 2 people working in a department. If you're lucky, you get help when you can, because they'll get called away to work on the understaffed registers. The theft rates are outrageous as well, they refuse to prosecute thieves. Management practically encourages it with their complacency. And don't even get me started on how the store looks. I feel sorry for the people who work there, tirelessly, on the same unending projects. I see this store going no where but down unless there is an overhaul...
