It's been more than a year living at the Chapman apartments. The location is really nice. All the stores, restaurants, entertainment are literally within a 5 minute walking distance. Its nice to be able to just walk around and see bustling activity. Parking is free. The gym is nice- it never gets crowded ever. The rooftop patios are a huge plus. The club rooms, bike room and conference rooms are also maintained well. Zuleyka from Drucker&Falk, who has been our main point of contact is an excellent property manager- very amiable and quick to attend to concerns.
Now for some cons: The corridor carpets on the 2-4 floors just show more dirt and grime compared to the fresh looking 1st floor. I wish they just cleaned the carpets more often because there are quite a few dogs and the dog owners don't all do a thorough job of cleaning up accidents. The valet trash system (that you pay $30 a month for) is quite unnecessary and does not cover recycling. If your apartment on the rooftop patio level, be prepared for some insects in summer or fall. Some repairs to the common areas take a long time to fix (like a burnt out bulbs in the common areas, elevators), but I feel they are getting better about...
Read moreThe Chapman Staff, Kristina and Theresa, go above and beyond to accommodate the residents and fury friends community. I started my process in November of 2021. From the start until living at the Chapman, the staff is what makes this place great. It’s not the organization or name of the place. It’s the people that are doing the day to day operations that make any organization spectacular.
You’ll enjoy living at the Chapman. The amenities and features are the best in this area. The price point is reasonable and you’ll fall in love with all of the places that surround the building. The building is very clean on the inside due to the care of Ms. Gloria. Not only does she clean but she greets you with a smile. You have to build relationships in any endeavor. The Chapman staff have mastered this. This is why I give it five stars. It’s the people. Find great people and you’ll find a great place to live...
Read moreI am very happy with my decision to live at The Chapman. The apartment is very nice and spacious. The area is also very nice, there is so much to do right around the complex. There is a great selection of restaurants near the building which keeps the cost of Grubhub down. The main issue I have with the property are the additional fees associated with the complex. I moved to the area on a temporary basis and each month I'm having to pay an additional $200 because I can't commit to a 12 month lease. I wish that wasn't the case but it is pretty standard around the area. This is a military area which I would think people would understand that jobs and people come and go through this area. I wish there was more flexibility in the fees. I really do like the complex despite the fact they...
