Rude unfriendly cashier. Upon entering the store she seemed to be friendly toward other patrons, I said hello and my adult son and I began to browse. I was looking for a specific brand of multivitamins and my son wanted a certain supplement. The cashier approached me and curtly asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her what I needed and she showed me to the multivitamin area. I already knew where it was but there were 3 people having a loud animated conversation directly in front of this area so I decided to browse and wait. I decided to get the vitamins and continued to look around. My son couldn't find his supplement so I told him to go ask the woman. He did and her response was a very short rude NO, he said ok well thank you. I grabbed a few more items and went to pay. I noticed the wine shop next door and went to take a quick look (after asking the woman if i could leave my items for a moment, she said yeah). When I came back she was checking another woman out and being quite friendly and nice but when it was my turn she became very curt and rude once again. I paid and left. I have often shopped here and over the years have referred many of my spa guests to this business. I WILL NOT be doing that anymore nor will I spend my money here again. Read moreI have shopped at Kate's for years and have always had a wonderful experience - until this morning. Everyone has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. This morning I went to buy some oils and they had 4 of the 5 that I wanted. I took them to the counter with the tester of the lemon, which they were out of. I asked the clerk - a new one I'd never seen - if I could buy the tester since they were out of them. Her reply "Nope" -- Clerk, how about "No ma'am. I'm sorry we aren't allowed to sell the tester" She was rude - completely unprofessional. So I just put everything back - not going to buy as long as she's at the register.
