Calan at Hilton Waikoloa was a great intro and guide to the slingshot and set my wife and I up for an amazing adventure.

We bombed around the north and volcano roads of the island, beach hopping and had a wonderful end to our vacation. Having not driven stick for about 15 years I was a little apprehensive but I watched a YouTube the morning of; and once I sat in the drivers seat I realized the manual transmission was very forgiving and super easy to adapt to. After a stall or 2 at stop signs with speed bumps, in the Waikoloa beach drive road area practicing, it all came back like riding a bike and I quickly had the confidence to hit the real road and cruise all around the island.

The big island had beautiful roads with amazing scenery. The slingshot handles like a car despite the one rear wheel driver and was a pleasure to drive.

WOW!!!! Riding around in the slingshot was nothing like I've ever experienced before. The freedom you felt with the open roof, no doors, was amazing but none the less I felt just as safe as any other vehicle! . This rental allowed us to view so many cool locations around the island, including the volcano national park, black sand beach, captain cook, ultimately being able to cruise the coast all around. Kalan was absolutely amazing when it came to the customer service aspect, always super friendly, no pressure felt at all. Extremely helpful when it came down to where to explore around and make the trip the best it could be! This should be on the top of your list when visiting the main island! Would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend...

At about 175 hp and a bit more than half the weight of a Honda Civic the power to weight ratio makes these very quick. You can feel the torque when you need it. We drove all over the island over 2 different days with both the convertible and non convertible versions. These things turn heads everywhere and draw onlookers when your parked or at a stoplight. So much fun and for the price compared to what other things cost to do here I thought it was a bargain! Dont hesitate...give Kalan a call and he will take great...
