We JUST got back from our 2018 Hawaiian vacation, after lodging here in Unit C23 for 9+ days. We booked with Resortica.com. ||This condo is located in a great spot in Waikoloa, in close proximity to BEAUTIFUL beaches on Hawaii, and walking distance to the Queen's Market for food/groceries. I think we would ONLY stay in Waikoloa in future visits.||C23 is an upstairs unit overlooking one of the 2 pools, with mostly new furniture, updated nicely, very well stocked with beach equipment, towels, extra pillows, blankets, washer/dryer, etc. It has 2 bedrooms, one a suite, other next to it's bathroom. We enjoyed the keyless locks for both the gate and condo entry. With this unit, you receive a parking spot, but ours was sometimes used by workers, allowing us no spot to park; kinda frustrating when it's included. We had ample space for the 6 of us, with the extra loft with 2 twin beds (the kids said were comfy) for our kids to use as their space. The kitchen was well used with a water/ice disp that we used daily. The oven had it's issues which we relayed to management. Management was always quick to respond to issues such as the parking spot, oven issue, etc. Included with your stay is a Hilton pass to enjoy their fun pool/towels/slide. (you could still use their lagoon without the pass) I think this pass is like $100/day, if you don't have this pass/card, so, nice perk included. The pools are really nice, warm, but can get crowded with people during certain times. The flies were pesky around the pool. ||||A few notes of improvement, if I'm being super picky: a few more items in the starter pack (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage liners), better cooler for beach use, ironing table, better cutlery in kitchen, the unit isn't well insulated, so be prepared to mind your noise after 10 and before 8, better lighting in the entire unit (including light bulb replacement), better upkeep/cleaning of kitchen/bath mats, possibly new towels (kinda had a 'stink' smell EVEN AFTER washing), and mattress replacement... --again, being super picky, if they didn't fix any of these things, I'd still come back!||||If you stay here, you will NOT be disappointed. It's up to date, clean, with tons of space for a full family. Cannot wait...
Read moreMy stay at Condo J2 at Waikoloa Beach Villas was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I stepped into the condo, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the array of amenities available.
One of the highlights for me was the wide range of amenities, including boogie boards, that were provided for guests to use. It added an extra layer of fun to my beach experience and made exploring the coastline even more enjoyable.
The kitchen in the condo was a real standout feature, boasting new appliances and ample space for cooking and meal prep. It made whipping up a quick snack or preparing a full meal a breeze.
The outdoor area of the condo was another favorite spot of mine, with a BBQ grill perfect for hosting cookouts with friends and family. It provided a great opportunity to soak up the Hawaiian sun and enjoy some delicious grilled food.
I also appreciated the easy access to the Hilton pool with the provided pass. It was a convenient option for when I wanted to switch up my swimming routine or simply relax by a different pool.
The value for money offered by Condo J2 was exceptional, especially considering the garage parking included for my rental car. It added an extra layer of convenience and peace of mind to my stay.
The attention to detail in the condo didn't stop at the amenities—the sheets and beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of adventure.
Lastly, the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the unit added a touch of elegance and personality to the space, making it feel like a true home away from home.
Overall, my experience at Condo J2 exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in Waikoloa...
Read moreWe booked a last minute trip top Hawaii in May 2015 for my 30th Birthday. I thought finding accommodation in Hawaii would be easy. Not so.... Hotels were EXPENSIVE. Especially with the AUD/US conversation rates at the time. ||||So we started looking around, Air BNB and other websites. Eventually we found the Outrigger Fairway Villas. ||||We booked a room, well priced for what seemed like a small, clean apartment located on a golf course and somewhat close to the beach on the Big Island. ||||This was out first stop in Hawaii, so once we had orientated ourselves and picked up our car, we found the villas after a few u-turns. We checked in easily, picked up the keys and went to our villa. We were 2 floors up, right on the gold course and in heaven. The decor was Kitsch, yes, but it worked. We were treated to cane furniture, birds of paradise, thick carpet, marble bathroom and Hawaiian paraphanalia everywhere.||||Huge kitchen, FULLY accessorised, lovely bathroom, course & Mountains views, pool/spa area and fairly decent gym. Most nights we took walks around the property. I felt the location was pretty perfect. Not in the middle of "town" (if you can call it that, its so spread out), but not in the middle of nowhere. A decent drive to the shops or to the beach/lookouts/mountain, located next to a premium shopping and dinning village a short walk away. ||||What a surprise. And a great way to begin our first visit to Hawaii. We spent 6 nights in total here, loved every minute of it. Nest...Maui!!!! ||||Take me...
