Harbor Freight — Local services in Hazlet Township

So I purchased a pump for a fountain that I recently got. The inner workings blew out of the back and the rod ate thru the plastic. I had the box and I always give my phone number for returns. The woman I just dealt with (Saturday November 18th closing manager) was so completely rude, standoffish, unhelpful, dismissive, impolite, angry, passive, mean, confusing etc., The pump I purchased is a 158 gph pt no 63315. To exchange it for the same pump in working order, not blowing rods out of the body of the machine, I was told I had to pay the difference. Not the point. Her passive aggressive nature was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. I made sure to thank her over and over less than 3 feet away from her and it was only her and I. NO response at all. I apologized no response at all. Her tone was loud and her demeanor was wildly angry . I have been to this location in the past. This experience was so poor I hope harbor freight tools checks in on the representatives that are the faces of their corporation. Btw the woman at the Islin NJ location( younger curly hair pretty) needs a promotion, a gold star and raise. She is truly a breath of fresh air to walk in to every single time I shop that location. Not this one. Unreal. People it's the holiday season. ...

First time in this brand new HFT Store. Wow very clean from the outside and was shock how clean and bright it was inside. I was like a kid in the candy store! My friend was able to find items he needed plus more. The one item was the Portland blower that is on sale from the Grand opening coupon, looked like the display shelf was empty but thanks to the Young male manager with glasses tonight, forgot his name, but he was able to find the blower we needed, that was on the top of the shelf in a different location..

Nice to see a manager walking around taking pride of the store. He was very caring and welcoming! Very easy to talk too! very friendly and very Knowledgeable where everything is located. To the point where very fine detail to the exact spot a location is at. Kudos To him! He also helped multiple customers at once and he made you wanna come back again. Always was bright and cheerful the whole time we were shopping. Even asked us later on if we needed help again and wished us a wonderful night and he hope to see us back.. Will definitely shop at this location from now on.. best wishes to the new store and the new wonderful staff. Glad to see a young group of people working...

The Hazlet HF is awesome. Every employee in the store knowledgeable of the merchandise and if you are clueless, have professional HF employees readily available to answer your questions. This is my fifth time to the store (it's new), every time I have been there the manager has come up to me and asked if I needed help, welcome to HF, come see us, real customer service focused. The tools...if you shop at HF it isn't for contractor grade, super heavy duty grade, private business use, last a lifetime stuff. If you are like me and a project comes up, instead of renting a tool I buy one from HF. That way if I get distracted, I don't care. Case in point. I bought a heavy duty, impact drill from HF five years ago. I needed it to drill about seven anchors into concrete. This is my go to drill now, I lend it out, I use it for everything and it has never let me down. I paid 30 bucks for it. I lost the chock and that was a 12 dollar replacement...not from HF. I can go on about the tools, nothing has failed me in a project, the great employees, how clean and organized the place is but I suggest you go. Get the experience and become a dedicated...
