Went in today, the store was fine, had no problem with the cashier. First time in this retailer When I walked in I started to look around, said hello to one of the crew members, I would have to say he was either a manager or an assistant manager. I kept walked and found rhe excercise equipment i was looking for. (Leg weights is what I was looking for) I passed it back tracked some and there he is again walked right passed me (has not said one word to me). But I found what I was looking for on my own. I also needed some new shoes so I go to the men's shoes section and on my was here he is again... (not one word) well I went to the wrong men's shoe section this one was for golfing (first time here) but I found the men's shoes found a pair I could run in and made my way to the front this time a different store employee was walking towards the front and basically walked next to each other the whole way.... (not one word was said) got to the cashier and paid.. cashier was nice.. Store made me feel unwelcome The guy was most likely following me so I didn't steal anything... met three times no interaction except from when I said hi when I first started looking around the store, not fixing up shelves, not putting product, away, at most of my every turn and walking at a good pace, if he wasn't watching me (badly) then my work with loss prevention must really be rusty. Women walking down to the register also keeping pace without a word what mission was she on because when I made it to the register she vanished too.. If you're gonna follow someone do a better job.. At the same time do your job it's called customer service how about asking the guy you're following if he might need some help finding anything.. If you want people to comeback don't make em feel like a criminal i get that enough from another store famous for...

Does anyone work at this store???? Each time I go in this store it is a struggle to find an employee for help. If I am lucky enough to find one, 9 times out of 10 they are hiding behind a rack of clothes playing on their phone. Today when I was in, a cashier was turned away from the register, slouched over the counter, chatting with a friend. When she realized I was waiting to check out, she stared at me until I moved to the counter. I was in the store for approximately 30 minutes and I only saw one employee other than the cashier, who was working in the shoe department. He traveled all the way to the front of the store to help a customer on the register because there was no one else to be found!
Furthermore, few of the items I was there to purchase were in proper size order. I understand that having a steady flow of customers can cause disarray, but an effort should be made to keep things tidy.
I used to love going in this store, but recently visiting it has been more of a hassle than something I enjoy. Management needs to take a stand and require their employees to...
Read moreAbout six months ago I visited the Bloomsburg Dunhams Sporting goods store. When I asked to look at a pistol the salesman wanted to look at my drivers License, Which was no problem. When I showed it to him he wanted me to take the drivers licnese out of the wallets see thru window. I declined. Today, May 30, 2023 I stopped by Dunham Sporting goods store in the Laurel Mall, Mall, Hazleton, Pa and saw a shotgun I liked. I asked to look at it. The salesman said he wanted to see my drivers license. Which was no problem, but when I showed it to him he wanted to take it and put my drivers license in the gun cabinet. Then he'd let me look at the gun. I declined. Being a senior citizen and veteran, I never had to show a gun dealer my drivers license to look at a gun. Let alone give it to them to put away while looking at the gun. I felt humilated and embarrassed that big business would violate my integrate and possible my Constitutional right. I recommend that we boycott Duham's Sporting Goods till they drop their policy restricting customers looking at firearms and taking their...
