NASR Brothers Jewelry — Local services in Highland Village

Working with Eli at Nasr Jewlers was one of the worst and most frustrating experiences I've ever had. We had a custom ring made this summer and the experience was quite bad. I intended to write a review then, but was so annoyed that I ignored it. Now months later we are still talking about it so I guess I should write this review.

First of all, I'll say that Nasr has some lovely pieces in the case and the price we paid would have been very reasonable if not for the terrible experience. Do not use Nasr for custom jewelry as we did, just shop out of the case if you choose to shop here.

Nasr can't handle custom jewelry for these reasons:

The whole process took over 3 months due to mistakes and long gaps in communication. We had several weeks long stretches where they didn't return email or phone calls.

Eli failed to pay attention to our edits several times. He assured us that he understood the request, but the edits to the renderings were never actually added to the final design. The ring that was made did not include many of our edits.

Despite multiple revisions, the central stone of the final ring is misaligned. The prongs look very weak and constantly snag on my wife's clothes. We worry that stones will fall out.

Nasr came highly recommended to us, which is why we chose them for this project. However, I can not recommend Nasr for custom jewelry. Stick to buying from the case here and don't trust customer...

Just wanted to take a moment and thank Eli and his staff for the up most impeccable, professional customer service anyone can ask for. Far from what I have experienced at other locations when shopping for fine jewelry. We were nicely greeted at the door, and we knew what we wanted. After providing little more information our sales associate showed us other/more options as well. Instead of shuttling us to someone else, we were escorted to what we sought and as it turned out we made another special purchase. I came to Nasr Brothers to have a custom double sided wedding band made to fit my engagement ring using my grandmother's wedding band and diamonds. Not only was the price a third of other quotes, but the ring was absolutely STUNNING!!!! Due to the detail and difficulty of have 3 rings fit together perfectly, I had to have the ring resized a few times. Nasr rushed each fitting and was more than happy to do it at no charge. In the end, I have a breathtaking ring that I stare at each day and not only think of my husband, but my grandmother as well.
