From Indiana. Arrived in Hinsdale for a 3rd Party Veteran Affairs Doc Appt 3/26. Had time to spare, was looking for something light to eat, a salad. Sweet Ali’s recommended The Fruit Store, and it didn’t disappoint. Small simple grocery store with a salad bar. That was neat. Felt like the 1990s again, nostalgic. Friendly staff. Store cashier clerk had no idea what the ebt,link,snap card was. Every grocery store in america accepts ebt even Puerto Rico. So mind-boggling that you can literally live in the same word as some people and they are oblivious to how others live 20 minutes away from you.. the store was nice, clean and the cashier seemed very cool..ingot bananas and they were good..but you should def know what ebt is..I worked at jewel.for a few months.
