On December 12, 2024, my husband and went to the Kohls in Hiram to purchase Christmas decorations. First, I purchased an eyeliner pencil from Sephora's and signed up as a Kohl's reward member. Purchase went fine. We then shopped and found some Christmas decorations and waited in a semi-long line for about 15 minutes. When we got up to the counter the cashier asked for my phone number, which I gave. She pulled up my rewards information and said my name. I then told her that the sign had indicated we could get an additional 25% a reward member discount. She stated, yes we could. For some reason the 25% was having issues posted. She then asked for my driver's license (Odd!!). She tried to use the scanner gun on my driver's license about 20 times (Odd!!), no lie. It wouldn't work. Then she asked me to put in my social security number in the machine (Odd!!). I told her I really didn't feel comfortable with doing that, but like an idiot did it anyway. The discount still wouldn't go through. At this point my husband said, okay enough we're done, just take the stuff back we're leaving. I mean, we never even got to put our credit card in the machine. Now we don't trust Kohl's. What kind of tomfoolery do they have going that makes a customer give their driver's license and ss# just to make a purchase? We left scared for our privacy, identity, and confidentiality. Just from that one interaction, serious. Went to Michael's in Kennesaw. No problem with Rewards membership, purchase went smooth, and for that reason I'm looking...
Read moreThis review is for POOR customer service. My mother was shopping today and she is a SENIOR CITIZEN. She was confused on how the line was set up. MARIE decides to catch a attitude and say in a rude way " The line is right here". I was on the phone with my mom and I did not appreciate your POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. You better watch how you talk to people. Next time, I will confront you at the store. Be glad I was across town. I gew up in Paulding shopping at this Kohls. The CUSTOMER SERVICE needs to be better. I don't mind showing up at the store!!!! Because you are asking for a confrontation. Speak in a polite way!!!! Even if you don't want to!!!! You are talking to someone that's a MOM!!!!!!!! With children who will go hard on ANYONE that DISRESPECTS her!!!!!! Funny how I called and apparently you're the MANAGER which is a joke. Which means. I can go above you. Even though CORPORATE may try to cover your ass. That's why I will definitely pop up on you if this happens again. She's a regular customer and has supported this location since y'all opened!!!! Read moreIn times past I have shopped here with great success. This time is was way different. The management chose to have a very limited amount of registers available. Customers were literally lined up in two lines that crossed each other in the very rear of the store. Lines were not even moving at a snail's pace. If they had only been that fast I would have thought that there was a race compared to the extremely slow to NO movement in the lines. I have no doubt that a Slug was running laps around us when we were in the check out lines. On top of that there were No store personnel to be found on the floor to help customers. CUSTOMERS now that is another issue, I have never in my entire life of over 59 years seen such RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE! It was as though the world was coming to an end and it was every man for himself, they were knocking and dragging things in all directions. You could not wade through them with out getting toppled and your things knocked from your hands. In short if the store would have given me anything in the entire store for free I would not have stood in those lines under those conditions. I left with my life intact and considered myself lucky to do so. I saw many people walk up to the doors of the store only to turn around and walk back to there car to leave. Never...
