I've been to this location a few different times, and today, I realized I'll never go back. A year ago, my prescription changed, but they explained there wasn't a lot of inventory of what I needed, so I went the whole year with contacts that were less than effective. This year, the optometrist was great and made the correct adjustments. I decided to also get regular glasses. They ordered them and said I'd get a call likely in 10 days, then I'd have them fitted. After 17 days, I called, and they said I'd be able to get them tomorrow, then suddenly said I could get them today, that the optometrist was on lunch. Minutes later I get a text saying they were ready for pickup. I go in, they pull them out of a drawer with a piece of paper rubber banded around them, and hand them to me. They'd been there for days. No case, no receipt, and no fitting was offered or done. Just the glasses that still had glue residue from the price sticker. They fit like crap. They didn't care. Pathetic service. I paid a lot of money for services I didn't get....
Read moreI was so disappointed at how my visit turned out. I do not recommend this Target Optical at all. I don't normally do reviews, but felt this place needed my opinion. I needed reading glasses, so the vision test was done. I chose progressive lens. I ask what strength reading glasses to use until my new glasses came in. I was told the strength. I paid $500 for my new glasses. I left and went right away to pick up a new pair of over the counter reading glasses. I was shocked to see how well I could see with these over the counter readers. I could see great. A week later the new glasses came in, I went to pick them up and try them on. I could see so much better with the over counter glasses than I could with the prescription glasses. They were terrible. The Doctor should have told me to just get this strength over the counter. I returned the prescription glasses and got my money back. I hate doctors that rip you off. Again I do not recommend this place for getting your...
Read moreI have been going to Target Optical for the past few years now. I switched to this location in 2022 after my usual spot stopped having as many Friday and Saturday openings available. They always have cute Coach frames for me and I tend to get a great price with my Eye Med insurance and the coupons that Target Optical sends me in the mail.
On my most recent visit, I was able to get my son in for an exam on New Years Eve (right before the insurance period ended). It was his first ever eye doctor visit and the doctor and staff made him feel comfortable and welcomed. I loved the affordability of all the kids frames. Not only did they have budget options like Cat and Jack, but they also had more expensive ones like Ray Bans and Oakley for under $150 (many under $120 too). My son had his eyes set on a few pairs initially, but ultimately decided on a green pair after the friendly staff member helped pull a few additional options from the back. Overall it was a...
