The Juicy Crab Hiram — Restaurant in Hiram

We’ve been waiting for this spot to open up since we saw their sign up. Went last week, but it was too packed. Tried to order to go online last night, but they weren’t added to the site yet; so we went in to do so.

Apparently, they have a to go area — convenient, but they probably should’ve made it bigger (there are two cashiers & there should probably be three or four). I built my order since you can’t substitute & that’s fine. I got 1/2 lb of shrimp (no head), juicy special, & added eggs.

Got home and realized they forgot my corn & potato, which came with the meal, as well as, the red velvet cake I originally asked for.

Went back & spoke to the same cashier. She asked for the bag back, so I figured she was going to add my corn & potato to it.

In hindsight, I realize that she recharged me for eggs ($5) I already purchased the 1st time around. I asked if the red velvet was good & she said it was dry, but the carrot cake was her favorite. Asked if it was a good portion size since it was $5 & she said it was for one person. I’m thinking it was gonna be a Marietta Diner or Cheesecake Factory size…I was sadly mistaken & would not recommend it.

Got home and the food was barely lukewarm. Kind of disappointed, because I had my mouth set for them and this was my birthday dinner. Giving them three stars because they are new, were super busy & they do have a now hiring sign up. It was a lot of hustle & bustle going on.

HORRIBLE!!!...My friend and I went to the Juicy Crab in Hiram GA on 12/7/2024...a bit late posting this.....but it needs to be noted. We WANTED to go to Chilis....however...they were jammed packed...and wait time was crazy. SO....we decided to see what was close around that we could go to. Neither of us had ever been to a Juicy Crab....and it was across the street...so we decided to try it out.....BIG MISTAKE.

First clue should have been there were HARDLY any cars in the parking lot....and there was lots of seating available....as there was hardly any customers in this restaurant....where as the others around seemed to be FULL.

We both ordered fried fish baskets (catfish for myself and tilapia for my friend) best thing was the fries ONLY. The fish was MUSHY AND JUST TASTELESS.....BOTH WERE. I didn't want a replacement of anything as I heard horror stories about when you return food at some restaurants.

The waitress - Robin (name on receipt).....was nice at first...BUT....when we said we didn't like the food......her ghetto ass attitude changed.....we just laughed at her. I wasn't going to leave a tip AT ALL....but my friend said to give her the minimum to show we didn't forget....just wasn't worth more.

I would NEVER....go to one of these...

Beyond upset with how my friend and i were treated at this location. We decided after driving home from a trip to stop at this juicy crab because it was on the way and a new location, and man i wish i had kept driving. Our server was destiny and she was rude and short with us. She put in our one and only appetizer and it took over an hour to come to the table(not joking we got there at 8 and left at 10:15), yet tables that were sat after us were getting there full meals that were a mix of steamer bags and fried food. Once our appetizer finally came out it was cold and greasy and gross. Finally after 2 hours our meal came out and yet again it was cold but by that time we just wanted to eat. Not only did destiny let our food sit on the line and purposefully let it get cold she also made comments every time she walked away from our table after we had asked for something or simply said thank you for bringing a drink refill or bringing our food out. She was very unprofessional and is now my reason to not come back to the Hiram location. Food was good outside of the appetizer, but the wait staff were the ones who ruined our experience. Also i should note that the store wasn’t super busy like other locations...
