J-train is a fun and positive workout environment. Gyms can be intimidating, however at J-train you feel like you can workout in a judgement free space. The entire training team makes you feel at ease, and you can tell they all enjoy being there. Working with Rob has been the best experience I’ve had out of any gym or workout class I’ve been a part of. Rob has years of training knowledge and makes sure you know you’re in a safe and encouraging space. Waking up and getting to a 7am training session is not easy, but Rob makes you want to keep coming back. Since working with Rob, I feel significantly stronger, which has made everyday activities less challenging. Simple things like lifting heavy items, that used to be a struggle, are now just normal life. I have never been someone who looks forward to working out. Read moreI have a very severe hip issue that I have had since birth but wasn't properly diagnosed until I was 35 years old. I hadn't been exercising regularly at all due to discomfort, and walked into J-train admittedly a little apprehensive. I've been training there for 3 months now, going ~2 times per week, and it has been the best thing I've ever done for myself. I work mostly with Jay, and have also had a few sessions with Max to work specifically on hip mobility - both are amazing. Even if you don't work directly with someone on the team, everyone there is so welcoming, it really makes the entire experience. It's clean and fun, not an intimidating environment at all, and you can tell everyone that works (and goes!) there loves being there too, which just adds to the positive experience. Read moreI have been training at J-Train for well over a year now, doing personal fitness workouts and yoga, both with Max Pena. Although Max is my personal trainer, I feel like all of the staff at J-Train are interested in the well-being and fitness of all clients. J-Train is friendly and welcoming, and one feels like a part of the family, but it's also hard work that pays off! I had worked out and done yoga with Max in the past and have always been greatly impressed by his attention to the whole self and on listening to one's mind and body while working out and in life. Like most people, neither my time nor my funds are limitless. At J-Train, every moment counts, and I leave after each training prepared to continue exercising on my own and practicing great life choices.
