While vacationing in the area with family we searched around for a breakfast restaurant during our stay. After our second day in the area we came across this spot and we felt delighted. Not only we ordered the perfect breakfast all around but the waitress was also so good to us, in fact she spoiled us with her tender and humble service. I believe she was of a Hispanic decent, which reminded me of the people in Chile when I worked abroad. I told her, we’re coming here for BK from now on, and off course we would returned the next morning. Sure enough the next morning there we were walking through the door, but that same waitress was not present that day so we got seated by a different waitress whom didn’t appear to care to even greet us. After we sat down I looked forward for a refreshing glass of water with lime in a pinch to start off with, but instead it was served in individual glass, no pitch and no lime. Meanwhile, everyone else had a pitch off water with lime. That same person also took our order for the drinks, yet when the kids got their drinks it was all wrong. Soon after we got another waitress, I guess she was the one to take our food order. When the food came out my wife and I still had not coffee. I immediately told her that I can’t have BK without my coffee. After a king wait she finally brought it out but it was not the coffee we asked for. She was all over the place, like a chicken without a head. Eventually when she got the coffee right I looked over and noticed my youngest son had no food yet so we waited and waited, but soon decided to feed him from my plate. Actually, four officers happened to be in the same room with us and couldn’t believe what was happening to us as they looked over, in fact they expressed their sympathy for the bad service. The waitress wouldn’t even give us napkins. This service went from bad to terrible and one of worse service ever received. It was like fighting the enemy that I never once new, while wearing a shirt that said “be kind.”This was so misleading! You have been warned! Review posted...
Read moreMaybe not the most family-friendly establishment. I visited on a quiet Friday morning, and initially I was impressed. We were given a large table in order to bring our baby and her stroller into the restaurant. HOWEVER, the visit turned south when we needed to change our baby’s diaper. Our daughter is currently in the alligator crawl phase—so we asked politely if we could both enter a restroom (which was completely empty and not busy) to change her diaper. Apparently this warrants a manger’s permission—and yet the manager could not bother to come to speak to us themselves. Upon entering the WOMENS restroom, it was abundantly clear the changing table is broken. It is missing the strap required for safe usage-as stated on the device. Furthermore, it was quite dirty and I had to clean it (after cleaning I realized it was broken). The MEN’s restroom had an equally dirty table, which again my husband had to clean and no trash can. It made it extremely different as I had to stand out the men’s restroom, grab trash, and bring it to the women’s restroom. It was absurd-equally fixed if I could have just accompanied him. I had to also stand outside and sing to keep my child from screaming. Again, I couldn’t do it because the table was broken in the women’s.
Like I’m not sure where to honestly start. First, you state I can’t enter—which I don’t know how much they can technically say. I thought in 2024 we were beyond barring people from restrooms based on gender. In fact, google can not provide me with law stating it’s illegal. In fact it can maybe be construed as the opposite—that denying is questionable—but again I’m not a lawyer.
Not having a proper receptacle in the men’s restroom as well as a broken changing table is equally concerning. I thought NJ law required receptacles for waste—in this case, diapers. Again not a lawyer. If you have a changing table, you need a trash can.
So moral of the story—hope you don’t need to change a...
Read moreThe food is great minus no fresh juices but the service and management is sooooo bad. For a brunch place it’s unacceptable to not have enough bottles of syrup that you get served to syrup cups. We got in the waitlist saying it was 15-20 min wait. We got there working 10 min. checked in and suddenly another 15 min wait. We waited about another 20 not 15 and were the last to be seated. What’s the point of waitlisting if you’re just going to seat us as walk-ins??? They take forever to get to you. then the food takes another 30 min to serve. Any that time you should have had a knife in the table. Why don’t they set tables with knives to begin with??? We wait 2 min for knives. Then another 5 min for a bottle of syrup. We were here over an over and finally got our food. Not sure about their management. Front of house was great. Efficient and nice. I was so upset that I wasn’t really hungry by the time I got everything. I know it’s no Fabourgh but come on!!! I’d save time driving to the closest First Watch rather than wait and spend 2 hours for brunch and parking in the neighborhood. Just don’t go here if you’re truly hungry like we were. Their drinks were so-so. Overly sweet like most American places. I wish did known. Food: We didn’t like the whole grain seasonal Hawaiian french toast. I got a plain waffle with berries but the waffle is ok not crispy enough. Orange juice tastes like Tropicana. I got the coconut cold brew which was good but a little sweet because it’s coconut syrup not coconut milk foam. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium. Sausages and bacon is very good and fresh salads. Atmosphere: a bit loud and hectic but also no music. Which could...
