Lidiia is hands down the best! She is amazing with her technique. As a dental hygienist who suffers from muscle aches and knots- I have the best relief when I get a deep tissue service with Lidiia. 🙏❤️

Worst massage I have ever gotten. Do not get a massage with Manny!!!

My boyfriend booked us 1 hour Swedish massages for Valentines Day and I couldn't have been more excited. This was my first time to this Hand and Stone location so we were open to whichever masseuse were available. Our appointment was for 2pm. At 2:05 I was brought to my room.

Once Manny walked us to the room he did ask what I was looking for in the massage, to which I said I have a lot of upper back pain and really just want a relaxing experience. Manny never asked what kind of pressure I prefer which I thought was odd, but I figured he'd ask as the massage went on.

Once the massage started I was so excited to relax and unwind. It started off okay and what seemed normal compared to my other massage experiences. I was honestly just so relieved to have my upper back massaged. But then what felt like 10 minutes later he was done with my upper back and barely massaged my neck. Shortly after he instructed I turn over. I was so confused at this point. I specifically said to focus on my back and that was it? I really tried to be optimistic. After I turned over he did start massaging my neck. But then the massaging turned into him basically holding my head in his hands for long periods of time. Again I was like am I crazy or is this normal??? At one point when he was literally holding my head in his hands I thought he had fallen asleep while massaging me. It felt like he almost fell into my face because he had dozed.

Aside from the short time spent on my specific problem areas, he was BARELY massaging me. The pressure was so light it was like I was being rubbed. At some points he would just hold his hands in one spot. Then again instead of massaging he started just moving hot stones up and down my back. I was beyond confused. I didn't ask for the stones nor did he ask at any point if I was ok with the temperature or the use of them.

Uncomfortable, I chose not to say anything. Again, I was trying to relax and really just didn't want to belittle him because I thought maybe he was doing something with pressure points? Or I figured he's the masseuse what do I know! But it only got WORSE as the massage went on.

Unfortunately, I never did get to relax. I was uncomfortable the entire time. Toward the end of the massage I literally laid there staring at the clock debating telling him to just stop. That's how bad it was. I was counting down the seconds left during a massage. This has NEVER been my experience in any massage I've gotten. I'm so disappointed and felt so bad because this was a Valentine's Day gift. Not to mention Manny seemed to be killing time at the end and ended at 2:59 meanwhile we started late as well. So basically not an hour "massage" if you can even call it a massage.

After the massage ended I met my boyfriend in the waiting area and I tried to tell him how bad it was, but couldn't get into detail. As soon as we left I asked "did your masseuse use hot stones?" He said no ? A natural response. I said, "did your masseuse ask what pressure you like or at anytime throughout?" He said yeah right at the beginning and then throughout made sure it was ok. I couldn't believe how completely opposite our experiences were.

I can't even make this up. I wish I was lying. I was so sad when we left I didn't know whether to cry or yell. Immediately after telling my boyfriend we debated walking back in, but decided to call. The front desks response was that they would ask Manny about the massage and call us back. Yup, you guessed it, they never called back. But I will continue to write these reviews because no one should spend 70+ dollars on an...

I paid for my husband to get a facial for his birthday. They have an empty seating area where I could have waited for him for the hour of his facial. I am pregnant and they told me to wait outside for the remainder of his visit. They told me I couldn’t wait in the waiting room because they had two more clients coming in (which most likely would be seen and not be sitting in a waiting room). His appointment began at 3:15 pm, it is now 4:00 pm I have been sitting outside for the past 45 min and no one has entered the facility for an appointment. Extremely disappointed, sat in the side walk while I waited for his session to be over they could have let me wait in their empty waiting room area being that no one was in the waiting room. Never coming here again.

At 4:09 pm the lady came outside to sanitize the door and she then said to come in and allowed me to sit in the waiting room saying two of the other clients already came and are being seen for there appointment. Mind you the entire time as I sat outside no one sat in the waiting room. Although, it was nice of her to finally let me in, my husband appointment is suppose to end at 4:15 pm. I’m just very disappointed, I sat outside for so long with my little baby bump. I’ll never forget what they allowed me to go through for my first time visiting there facility.

It would have been nice for them to let me know that would happen during the time I was setting up his appointment. I would have attempted to find a...

I’ve been a member for about a year. I come regularly for both massages and facials. The facility is clean and they always do a good job. I don’t stick with one masseuse, but I’ve found that they all do a good job at responding to what I need.

For people looking to come here for the first time, I have two bits of advice based on other reviews. First, you have to come early for your appointment. There is a lot of paperwork to sign, which is standard for any spa procedure. If you’re appointment is at 2:00 pm and you come at 1:59, you’re late. You need to be there a solid 15 minutes early. This place gets fully booked every single day, so they’re not going to start the clock late for you.

Secondly, all spa locations like this are very sales focused. The employees are forced to be sales people. If you are going for a facial, they usually make recommendations for add ons in the beginning. You have to know what you want and what your budget is. Have the conversation during the initial consultation, accept or decline the add ons, and then relax. It takes away from the relaxation, but unfortunately that’s the downside of a spa chain.

I’ve always found that employees here are friendly the front desk staff has always been helpful. I’ve been considering canceling my membership for personal reasons, and the team at the front desk were super helpful with explaining all of my options with canceling and pausing the membership, as well as explaining how long my remaining...
