Big Rhonda's Transmissions — Local services in Holbrook

I want to say a huge Thank you to Ron, Rhonda, and Sky( who I didn't meet but she works there). My sons truck was delivered to me in Nevada by a transport service from Oklahoma, as my son was being sent to Germany( military) to be stationed. It arrived not able to drive forward, but only in reverse. So here it has sat for 2 yrs not being driven. So I was referred to Big Rhondas by Darren, the owner of Kustom Kolors, here in Pahrump. Explained everything to Ron, had it delivered to them from Pahrump. They has my sons transmission done in no longer than 3 days. Drove out to pick it up and Ron and Rhonda took the time to show me what the so called mechanic had done to totally destroy the trans even more than the damage it already had. Got in it and drove it back home with no issues at all., with Ron even called to check on my drive home to make sure all was good,( the tires are pretty sun damaged and partially bald).They did go above and beyond and made me very appreciative that they fixed it. They were very helpful in explaining and just all around great people who own a great shop that actually cares about the quality of their work. Runs great not to mention their shop is so clean never seen any shop like theirs, and I can not forget the dogs who are so cool and nice. This shop is lacking professionalism and fair business practices. I had my transmission rebuilt by Rhonda and by the time I got to Albuquerque, all the fluid had leaked and my van was running terribly. I called the shop to talk to about different options, and she refused to take responsibility and I was belittled for inquiring about reimbursement options. I had to drive the 3.5 hours back, spend over $100 on transmission fluid to top it off and make sure I got there safely. When I got to Rhonda’s shop, she fixed the problem and tried to send me off. When I brought up reimbursement options she became hostile and wouldn’t (couldn’t) explain to me why she didn’t think I deserved reimbursement for the money I had to spend to get back there. Super friendly and professional ! Deserves a 5 star ⭐️ Not only were we warmly welcomed after office hours but we have been helped beyond what we could expect ! Ron offered us hospitality, identified our problem and went out of his way to find a replacement piece to fix our gearbox issue so we could continue our adventure!
