I didn’t die or have any serious concerns though they did stick a knife in my eye (it was small apparently). I have a new lens which they say will work real good after my eye heals. I’m in a wait and see mode. They were all very polite up till the moment they stuck my eye but were kind enough to wish me the best of luck afterward. One nice gal ceremoniously put a patch over my eye, and I expected her to say something like, “It be a fine day for pillagin’,” but clearly the moment was lost on her. I would have enjoyed flying the “Jolly Roger” on my car antenna home, but they didn’t offer me one. My surgeon was very friendly with the guy that gave me the happy drugs (I can’t spell his speciality and spell check isn’t helping). I caught a few baseball scores before I went blank. After the surgery I was told it all went perfectly, though I was a little out of it so I’ll have to take their word for it. All in all, if you have to get a poke in the eye, the surgery center is as good s place as any. Though if you can avoid the poke, I’d probably go with that. But very fine people who all seem to know what they’re doing. However, my degree is in a humanities field, so do take that...

This place is great! The staff is so helpful and friendly, from the front desk all the way through the whole procedure to recovery. Them ladies over there deserve 10 🌟⭐️. I really enjoy it you are not treated like an assembly line there’s even some humor mixed in for the perfect experience. This recipe will help one to relax and not feel so up tight, I almost feel like I am part of the team. I have been there three times now and going back for a fourth in a couple of weeks. Dr. Monroe is spectacular the BEST pain specialist I have ever encountered, and I have been to quite a few of them. She knows just what to do to treat your pain and how to go about it to get the results you’ve been waiting for. Her demeanor is outstanding very calm, soft spoke, but very knowledgeable. You all are amazing!...

I have had a procedure done a number of times with Dr Monroe at the Holland Hosp Surgery Center. The team she works with are very intuitive on how the procedure has been working and happy to be a part of helping. In fact that's one thing very impressive, everytime I've been at Holland Hosp Surgery Center all the nurses, the antithesisology dr. and any everyone else involved. Including the person who checks you in at the front desk. All of them working are kind and have a great attitude. Thank you for being such a wonderful inspirational care...
