Peggy's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Holly Springs

I was in the local area and I visited this Hallmark location several weeks back to purchase a baby shower card. I'm preparing my shower gift today and they didn't include a gold crown seal. That's Hallmark card 101....who forgets to include that?? The customer service was already very poor upon visting (no greeting, no askking if I needed assistance). This was my first vist to this location and it won't be my first thought to visit in the near future. I've been a Gold Crown member for a long time, this rarely happens at most Hallmark's...

This place gave me a lot of nostalgia for the Hallmark store I went to in my hometown when I was little. It has the same soft yet cluttered feel, the same joy of trickling through visually appealing (yet mostly useless) knick-knacks, and - somehow - maintains that same, extremely familiar scent. That was what got me when I stepped inside. Candle scents and lotion scents have changed, so how does it stay the same as it did in the aughts? Howwww?

Regardless of the answer, the store was pleasant, nostalgic, and easy enough...

Manager confronted my minor daughter and her friend and forced them through intimidation and threatening to not allow them to leave to roll up their sleeves and open their bags. He found nothing, freely admitted to doing it on the phone with me and then hung up on me. Don't let your loved ones in there unless you're present to protect them. The manager was rude and defensive from go on the phone as he knew he was wrong. I'm waiting to find out what corporate plans to do the redress...
