Belinda is just great. I live in the neighborhood, but had never gone in the shop until recently. I thought her dresses were impressive costume works, but not really something I would wear (unless I was in a play or something). For those that love dressing up in period wear (any period, really), this is the shop for you. I ended up going to see Belinda for alterations on my wedding dress. I picked her mostly because she was the closest thing to home, but boy am I glad I did-- she's so sweet and thorough! I didn't need much done, but she spent a good deal of time with me, talking through all the options (even advising me on what kind of bra to get to accommodate the low back of my dress). I'm so pleased I didn't end up somewhere else where I would have been rushed through (it's only a $50 alteration afterall). Also, inside the shop and up close, those dresses are really works of art. Belinda is a beautiful woman inside and out. Thankful I got the pleasure of meeting her. I came to her a week before my daughters sweet 16. Didn’t even have the money to really rent a dress. Belinda told me not to worry she would work with me. Mind you I was late to meet up with her, she said no problem we will work around this. I came to her store and when I walked it the atmosphere felt amazing and her dresses were all so fabulous, unique, very stylish! So many choices to pick from. I felt like a kid in a candy store not over exaggerating. She rented me the dress with what I had and gave me accessories and a crown. I really felt god made this happen. I first walked into Belinda's shop in 2014 and was captivated by every dress. Let me warn you: if you are not artistically minded, then perhaps David's Bridal is more your thing. Her pieces are works of art. January 2017 I returned to her shop engaged and ready to order a custom dress. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and she was able to create exactly what I asked for without copying the dress in the picture. I didn't want a white dress.
