Build-A-Bear Workshop — Local services in Holyoke

I just recently had my daughter second birthday party at Build-A-Bears, I'm so sad at the service we were given, They advertise that it's an amazing place for you to go and do birthdays party, and the package I choose included photo props, party hats, games, and activities let me just say all we did was build the bears and sing happy birthday and that was about it. No party hats no photo props and no game/ activities as advertised. Once I called the Build-A-Bear service we were told they couldn't do anything and we had to take it up to the store ourselves, so I did just that. I was hoping Build-A-Bear would of responded better to the situation. The Store manager at the Holyoke Mall responses to me was that the hats were free as well as everything else so it was optional for them to do it... I payed for a Birthday Party at Build-A-Bear and they took our money without giving us the actual Birthday Party that they promised. We are now waiting on the District...

Usually have a great experience but today was flat out unacceptable,I went today to get a nightmare plush for the collection and the staff was very unwelcoming ,rude and basically not helpful at all I have given my business for YEARS now to this place and I’m kind of hesitant in going again due to the attitude problem these girls have especially the one with green hair in the surfing area,I believe her name is Jaiclyn . Please retrain your staff ,last time I checked wether it’s a child or adult getting a plush we should be treated with respect and kindness at the end of the day ,i expect great customer service and a smile . Today was no exception once again please learn how to treat customers with respect and less attitude you don’t like working with kids then find somewhere else...

Don’t plan your birthday parties here, the staff are not nice, they give attitude when under pressure and they completely messed up my sisters birthday party event and didn’t give her everything she paid for and had them leave because the store was getting busy when she PAID a lot of money for the event and when she called to ask why she didn’t get everything she paid for the lady gave her attitude and told her that because we brought a lot of kids they did the best they could when it doesn’t work that way if people pay for something you should be prepared it’s not her fault y’all were...
