I recently visited Victoria's Secret with my mom, who was hoping to buy a few new bras. We were greeted promptly, and the associate took the time to discuss what my mom was looking for. She then escorted us to the fitting rooms, handed my mom a bra to try on, and told us sheād return with more options based on what my mom wanted.
However, after waiting for quite a while, we were never approached again. My mom was only able to get into a fitting room when someone else left, and there was still no sign of the associate. I eventually went on a search throughout the store to find her, only to discover she was at the registers helping customers check out. When I asked her about the bras, she casually pointed to two rooms and told us to look in that area for the bras she was interested in, without acknowledging that we had been waiting for so long.
What was most frustrating was the complete lack of customer care. She never returned to check in with us, nor did she ask anyone else to assist while she was busy. It was clear she hadnāt even looked for the bras my mom was interested in. This experience left us feeling disregarded and disappointed.
While I understand that retail stores can get busy, good customer service means communication and consideration for your customers. Sadly, that was missing during our visit, and we decided to leave without making a purchase. I wonāt be returning based on how poorly we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVictoria Secret is done. They have resorted to knowingly tricking people to stay in business.
Their return policy is misleading and they know it. Iām sure Iām not the first to let them know their return policy is unclear on perfume. I found out today over the phone that once you open a perfume it becomes a final sale; you canāt return it.
But their return policy doesnāt say this. It says as of today, āAny item(s) purchased that you don't love may be returned, including Sale & Clearance and items received as gifts. Merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, and otherwise in its original condition.ā
āOriginal conditionā for perfume means unopened, and they are not making this clear. Why would a customer know this without it being stated?
I called Victoria Secret about my order and just happened to ask to verify the perfume could be returned if I didnāt like it. Thatās when I was told no, once opened beauty products are final sale.
I havenāt received my order yet, but unless I go to the store and am able to try a tester, Iām going to unfortunately return my order unopened, because perfume is too big a chance to buy un-smelled and untried.
Now instead of a nice shopping experience, I have a chore to do: either traveling to the store way away from me to try a tester, or to the post office to return a product that I could never open....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMost humiliating experience in the retail place in addition to worsening state of the store that is filthy, disorganized and staffed with unprofessional individuals dressed in leggings, sloppy t-shirt and UGGs, really that is what Victoria Secret represents?. Visited jan.29 around 5PM at Holyoke Mall store. I was trying to make an equal exchange item that caused skin abrasion due to the gel like substance on the inside of the bra that irritated the skin. Simply to be able to wear a bra that is not defective. I had no receipt obviously. The Manager and associate were beyond words rude and unprofessional. I was not accommodated, no exchange, I left the defective bra at the store, no compansation. On the way out, this young associate Ashley with sarcastic laugh said " bye , enjoy your bras" . There is no one to complain since manager witnessed this and was as complicit as the associate. Victoria Secret company is already facing decline in sales, trying to stay above the water, maybe V.S. should consider making stores look inviting , clean and train employees in customer service, including respect. Also a dress code for employees would help. In the past when stores were sparkling, elegant and associates were dressed in black suits, it was a pleasure to shop at Victoria Secret stores,...
