So…. How would you feel if you got married without your wedding ring? Well I did and I even gave them opportunity to respond appropriately. I got married 2/28 my ring was promised for 2/26 by the store manager. We went ton pick it up and not only was it not in the store it wasn’t even ready to be overnighted. I spoke to the staff, very apologetic and said they would request the manager to contact me and they know I will receive some form of compensation for this travesty. When we returned from our honeymoon I went to get my ring and spoke with the manager. She assured me that this was unacceptable and would send to corporate. Well corporate responded…..25.00 store credit is what they deemed appropriate for getting married without my ring! I declined that offer and she said she totally understood B and had actually reached out to her regional director….. response was they are offering no compensation. The fine thing is there is no value to be put on adding moments no and memories and photos missing my wedding ring so actual monetary number is not really the issue is it? It is the callousness of the way corporate and regional responded…. After all any store credit is bringing me back to your store a 500.00 dollar credit with a minimum 1000.00 purchase guarantees another purchase it’s just smart business. The really funny thing is they probably looked at my simple band and said she isn’t going to spend money on here so who cares. They are right I won’t ever again but my husband loves jewelry and my mom was with me and has now decided to cancel her solitaire diamond and my son, planning engagement will not be shipping there and probably anyone else in my very large family. So….. take your chances with them if you want but I know this Kiss didn’t...
Read moreWhen you purchase a wedding ring and exchange it with vows, it’s supposed to mean something of value. Well my ring has broken 3 times since I bought it less than 2 years ago. I purchased my ring in March 2017 where it sat in a box until my wedding in Sept. Less than 4 months after my wedding (Jan 8, 2018), it broke. The store manger advised me to have it repaired (which took a month). Few months later (Oct. 26,2018), it broke again in the same place. Kay told me they would like to thicken the shank and ensured me this would fix it. Well, surprise, surprise, it broke A MONTH AFTER GETTING IT BACK! Here’s the kicker... I can only exchange it for another ring from Kay.... which is the last thing I want to do. Please, save yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I bought my engagement ring from Hannoush Jewelers in 2015 and it still shines. Safe to say I will be buying my new wedding...
Read moreToday I went to Kay Jewelry to pick up a bridal ring set that I had ordered online. First let’s talk about my online order it was really fast and efficient! I was expecting it on a friday pick up and instead it was ready a day early. That’s just two day total! When we arrived at the store we were helped by Trish. She was wonderful, she discussed with us information that I didn’t know let alone what I needed. Trish was able to put all my previous purchases together under one account for ease of future look up for warranty’s. She also gathered all important documents I would need for insurance purposes so I can have a easy time putting insurance on the ring. She had great conversation with us and made us feel like we weren’t even in a store. Thank you Trish for taking a online order pick up into a...
