I stopped by the hair salon last night to see if there were any cancellations for a cut and blow dry. There were not, but the receptionist offered to make an appointment for today. I needed an appointment after 5 pm and they said they had one available at 8 pm. My hair is long (below my bra line) and I was hoping for a LOB (long bob) and asked if there would be enough time with an 8 pm appt. She said yes. I showed up for the appt. tonight 15 minutes early and the receptionist and stylist were both at the register. The stylist said "Well, you're early, so you can shop around if you want and I'll call you when I'm ready." I had shopped the night before, but understood I was early so I wandered around...and around. Every area, every aisle. I watched the receptionist leave about 8:15. I wandered back toward the salon and saw the stylist still working on a client. I made sure she saw me and I then sat in the waiting area. I wasn't angry, I understand things happen, but I didn't want her to forget I existed. By 8:30, I was getting apprehensive. In addition to it being a pretty drastic cut for me, I didn't want a rush job through no fault of my own. I assume they stay past 9 if they aren't done?? I would have asked somebody or talked to somebody, but there was no one to ask. Between 8:35 and 8:40, there was movement at the register and I turned from the waiting chair and looked and it was the stylist. I had to ask HER if we needed to reschedule. She says "do you want to?" and I said "I don't want it to be in a rush" and she says "okay, let's reschedule." Seriously, I get it, things happen and you run late, but I'm sure SHE had an idea when I checked in how late she was running - why not tell me then? Why make me wait 50-55 minutes and then it's ME who had to ask if we needed to reschedule? I wasn't angry there, but as I left, I became angry and decided to leave this review to share my experience.    Read moreI came up from the keys to run errands and decided to get my hair cut at Ulta in Homestead. Mirtha greeted me and there was obviously a language barrier but I wrote down my info for her and she called me right back. I donât know what she used but my hair felt SO CLEAN after she washed and conditioned it, then she used Redkin 25 which is obviously magic in a bottle. The tricky part was showing her what I wanted done with my hair but with google translate and a google search for âReese Witherspoon swoopy bangsâ she gave me an absolutely perfect haircut. I swear she styled me on Wednesday and itâs Friday and my hair still looks when I left the salon. Mirtha, I will definitely be back even though itâs a two hour drive!

   Read moreAll I have to say is customer service @ itâs Finest, as a Gentleman , I do have a phone number with & venture to Ulta occasionally but today I stoped by with a nice List of misc that would take me 3 hours to find with just me & my other buddy alone. Rachel & Mellisa came to my aid & when I say I had the best shopping experience anyone could ask for mean it! There really are amazing human beings out there who take a lot of pride in the little things they do that make the biggest difference in the lifeâs of the individuals around them. Above & beyond they both went to make sure I got everything I needed & then some. Excellent sales Women.
Asked to speak to the StoreManager to Congratulate her on her truly Exceptional Floor Staff; (hospitality/retail is difficult finding great people who genuinely care about a great welcoming customer experience especially in Miami) she was equally as nice & had expressed how just the day Prior it had been Madness for them there. Even after one of their busiest days Iâm guessing of the Season, these girls come into the work the next day giving 150%. THATS HOW YOU MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!
I hope someone in higher management sees this review & does something special for the girls at this store because they really made my shopping experience one of A Kind. They are a HUGE component 2 why corporations like Ulta are as successful as they are. Thank you all again for being Kind....
