I bought the old English hand engraved solid gold band about a year and a half ago and I loved it. Unfortunately, a few months back I misplaced it. I was heart broken. I went to check the website to replace it and saw the price had gone up over $200. I tried calling the phone number on the website to see if the sales reps could let me know if there were any sales upcoming (as I believe I bought the original on sale) so I could purchase the replacement a little more affordably but no one would answer the phone. I left two voicemails and no one returned my calls. I ended up just purchasing the replacement as I did really love the ring despite the lack of customer service. When I received the second ring it looked nothing like my first one. I know they’re hand engraved, but you would think the design would be similar. The second one had much more blank space and just looked a little sloppy in the design positioning. Once again, I called wanting to see if the design had changed and if I could return the ring as I was not happy with this one. Once again no one answered and no one returned my calls. I have just dealt with it and was going to put it behind me, however, today I was compelled to check the website and lo and behold they’re having a sale. A month or so after I bought my replacement it’s now $100 cheaper than what I bought the second ring for. I am overall so so disappointed. I was so happy originally and would tell everyone how great Happy Laulea was but now I have a bad taste in my mouth. The customer service is awful and the quality has sadly declined. Updating review from one star to five. After my original review was posted I was contacted by Cory who was extremely helpful in remedying the situation. He offered overnight delivery of my refunded order complete with the engraving on both rings. The items made their way to me very quickly and the quality of the items are incredible! Original review: I ordered a couple of rings for me & my wifes wedding anniversary totaling over $300 just over two weeks ago. Two days after purchase I received a text saying my order was shipped. I kept close eye on that "shipment" which never left Honolulu. 16 days after purchase confirmation I receive a text saying my purchase was refunded, no update, no explanation whatsoever! Since I don't usually wear accessories, I was able to discuss everything from size to color and design in detail. Thanks to you, I was able to make a very satisfying purchase.
