Worst experience, customer service. Please read this before you make an appointment. Honolulu / Aiea - Pin Thai both has same management.

To start off, I am 13years loyal customers to Siam Thai on same building. On 11/5/22 SAT, my favorite masseuses were both fully booked so I decided to try at Pin Thai as my body really needed it at that time. Here are the reasons why I had horrible experience at Pin Thai. I got to the shop, and it was very dark that I need to turn on phone light to write arrival chart. Well, was not a big deal. My masseuse did not speak English at all but did not care if she can communicate with words and body language. During massage, I had allergy attach so my nose was very congested. I asked her if I can get massage faced up, but she said no. Eventually, I really had to (because every time she massages upper back, I was totally out of breath: Nose & Mouth), so I just flipped myself. Also, it was freezing cold that you can literally see that all my muscle was so tense, and I let her know that it is freezing, and I will need a blanket which she did not care or do not understand the English. Right after I faced up, she put towel on my FACE and turn on AC higher. I am not sure what that means. I was only thinking that she is trying to kill me. I speak up again and I was able to get blanket on my body, but she would not turn down the AC After massage, she did not even give me water, so I had to asked for it. She answered “You will need to go different floor” so I went different floor to get the water. I paid full amount with 20%tips as I normally do with everywhere else. I was not going to complain but my body was so sore till today (5days after) so I just wanted to let the management team know what is going on. I called and let them know that I would like to speak with manager. The person named Nicole said there is no manager but her only and I can only speak to her. So, I told her “I know it is not your problem and I am not looking for money back. I just want to let you guys know what happen so that nothing like this happen again” I explain everything to her, and she said, “YOU DON’T HAVE A HAND?” I could not believe what she said. I told her I would like to speak with owner, and she said owner is out for vacation for 3MONTHS and she told me to claim the refund from the exact masseuse.

Pin Thai and their management is total disaster, and they definitely have no interest in customer service or hearing out any complaint. Some of you maybe had good experience with certain masseuse, but management absent for 3month cannot be any good sign. They do NOT care of you at ALL.

I got the BEST MASSAGE IVE EVER HAD here! Pu (pronounced 'Pooh') is so talented! I'm very picky as I require an intense pressure because my muscles are so tight. I've had many massages from LMT's that didn't help because they were unable to perform the intense pressure I needed. This lady is so good! She’s excellent at deep tissue and getting those nots others cannot. Never going anywhere else. 😁

(Side note: I’ve seen some reviews saying they feel like they got ‘beat up’ or the pressure was too intense. All you have to do is tell them lighter on the pressure. They also ask how the pressure is doing. If you don’t say anything beforehand, they’ll start somewhere in the middle, then ask part way into the massage. For some, that hurts. For others, like me, it’s not enough.)

REVIEW UPDATE: changing my 5 star review to a 1 star. I called here on 10/31/2020 asking for this massage therapist. The lady on the phone said she no longer works here. I explained to her I require intense pressure and it’s hard for me to find a matching therapist who can do it. I asked her for a name recommendation. She tells me to say a date and time. I told her again I book by the therapist and want a recommendation for someone who can do intense pressure. It was a very calm sincere conversation on my end. I told her I’ll work around the therapists schedule. She again only asks me for a date and time then hangs up on me. I thought the call dropped but I wasn’t able to call back for hours. Had a friend call and it went straight through. Turns out this lady, after a polite request, blocked my phone number. Now I had a 5 star review, was commenting on others negative reviews touting this place up and was tipping $20-25 each time I went because I know my massages are difficult because it takes strength. I’m also seeing others having the experience of their card machine being broken and having to pay cash. I went also, not very close to the time of that review, and also had the same experience. I’d guess collecting unemployment and don’t want to report how much they are making when...
