This is one of the very best places for pho and lots of other dishes! You get lime, NOT lemon with your pho, the broth is well-balanced in flavor and not too salty, whatever beef you order is always tasty. Don't stop there, try their crispy and flavorful spring rolls, rice vermicelli bowls, oxtail soup and pad thai, just to name a few. I appreciate how perfectly seasoned their pad thai always is, with just the right balance of ingredients. The sauce doesn't taste ketchup based. I like to order the chicken and tofu pad thai. Usually when you order this at other places, the chicken is dry, overcooked, flavorless and the tofu is pretty much the same. Here they manage to cook both chicken and tofu that is tender, juicy, and well-infused with flavor. Service is excellent, prices are reasonable. Try this place!

Man, what an amazing experience! The owner was so friendly and welcoming, it instantly felt like we were visiting family. I ordered the combination pho, and wow—the broth was absolutely incredible. I didn’t need to add oyster sauce or sriracha; it was perfect just as it was. We also ordered spring rolls, and those were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and even my 2-year-old son loved them! He got some noodles too, and he couldn’t get enough. For dessert, we tried the purple tapioca, and man, that was the perfect sweet ending. This place is truly a hidden gem—a hole-in-the-wall, mom-and-pop shop that delivers on both service and flavor. I’d recommend it to anyone, and I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Hawaii. Amazing service, amazing food!

Sweet little mom and pop restaurant. Many times when you travel and want food from your country, it's either a hit or a miss. My family was craving Vietnamese food, so I did a search and gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with Tuan and his mother's restaurant. My family was pleased with the flavors. They also had Thai style papaya salad which was welcoming. I urged them to try to make Lao papaya salad in the future since one of the cooks is Lao. Also their Vietnamese taro tapioca dessert was wonderful 😋. Thanks Tuan and Family!

4.5 stars Parking lot attendant is a hoot! Make sure to say aloha to him...Saturday lunch at around 2pm and restaurant was about 1/2 full. Ordered the large combination bowl and in less than 5 minutes our food was served fresh and hot. I like to pinch and tear apart the basil greens, squeeze in a little lemon but bypass the sprouts w jalapenos ( I'm a light weight neko tongue). Soup was mild and non-offensive. Noodles al dente with lots of meat-just the way I like it. Ice water was much better with a squeeze of lemon. Made a tiny plate of sauce consisting of red chili sauce and hoisin sauce for dipping my brisket/ asstd meats. Slurp-yumm! That really hit the spot-fatty strips of meat with every bite. Staff friendly and not too chatty. 2 people meal cost around $40 including tip and tax. Once in a while-Pho meal that's okay by me! Yes, coming back again. Recommend to my family...

Excellent first experience with pho. As such I have nothing to compare it to but this was some great food.

The restaurant has a small and friendly atmosphere that is doubled by the friendliness of the staff. I explained that it was my first time having pho. The waitress was GREAT and explained things to me such as the various herbs brought with my bowl. She even mixed up a condiment combination that she said was popular so that I could try it. That is exceptional service!

Pho Bistro is also an obvious local favorite as I was clearly the only tourist eating there at the time. Get a regular size if you have never had pho before. It is a very nice portion. I recommend the combination bowl with a Thai iced tea.

I love finding places like this while...
