Salon Tiffany — Local services in Honolulu

Since it’s close to Christmas, I had a hard time finding openings with stylists I usually go to. I wanted to find another stylist anyway, because four hours of your time is a bit much. Lots of waiting, even waiting to get started from your appointment time. So I called a friend to ask for her stylist. I’m very picky, and I am very leery of how well a stylist cuts and colors. So my regulars are quite expensive and in demand. I’m so happy I went to Salon Tiffany. I was nervous the whole time of what my color and highlights would look like, let alone the cut. This salon is unbelievable. Amazing. They start on time, no fooling around. Tiffany knew ahead of time what I wanted done, looked at my hair for color, and wham, bam! She came at me coloring like no other. She’s very fast, and any waiting time was the usual sitting under the dryer for the color to take. They don’t waste their time and they don’t waste your time. They treat you like they know your time is as valuable as theirs. Color was done, two assistants quickly fast-dried my hair, and there Tiffany was again, highlighting my hair in no time at all. They noticed my hair was very damaged and dry, and I can’t believe the time they took to condition the hair, rubbing my hair, pausing, rubbing it again and again. So very caring about conditioning my hair. Then the drying, again, two assistants quickly blew my hair dry. Then Tiffany comes and asks a few questions, gives me a suggestion, and wow! She cut my hair in no time at all, very skillful, very talented. It was a beautiful cut with her speedy fingers and scissors, with such precision. And my color was beautiful. I always ask for hair product suggestions, but I didn’t have to ask. She came out and said she could suggest products for me to use if I wanted. She’s very busy, but somehow, they’ve got their system wired, so no wait time while she works on other clients. Tiffany herself does the color, highlight and cut. I’ve never had a color, highlight, toner and haircut in 2-1/2 hours before. Ever. I had no problem, either, getting an appointment. All I can say is today, I was blessed. Thank...

I told the hair stylist to not cut off any length and just trim, expecting her to do a diamond shape. She nodded and then she proceeded to take off 2-3 inches and then denied it, even though I watched her do it?? She couldn’t even apologize. I am smiling in these pictures - but I hate my hair and wish she had listened. Definitely don’t recommend going to someone who did the opposite of what I asked her to do. She has completely lost my business. There is the before and after, obviously my length was longer since it was curly, and now, straight, it is so short. Truly one of my favorite salons. The first time I came here was on a whim when I wanted to go full blonde. I knew the risks of going from basically black to blonde and it would involve my hair being so damaged beyond repair. But with the care that I received here, I swear my hair felt healthier and looked healthier after it was bleached.
